I came across this video and it was exactly what i was looking for. I from the tracks at my local Lowes and ordered the tape. After i installed the tracks and the tape i put some Johnson paste wax on the plywood to help the saw slide. Thanks for posting this.
Glad you found it useful.
Thank you for this video. I followed your steps and was able to safely remove the mirror without any damage! Thanks again.
Those couplers and bevel gears put this at like $100 just to extend the controls... why do you need plywood behind the press covering the controls again?
So the T-tracks for the fence will allow the fence to go back. You want to keep as much depth as possible.
My 03 Tahoe just passed 300k and i know my fluid is dirty . But im a bit afraid if i change it it will start slipping . It does not slip at all now
Right at the end of the video there is a link to a video that discusses this. Top left thumbnail with the three cups.
dont u lose 3/4 of an inch depth?
Yes, but I rarely work with anything over ¾" thick.
@@HouseDoctorRay your vids are for others though ..but it's worth a go.
You should have flipped it around before cutting.
good job
Thank you! Mine is smelling! Didn’t know how to clean it.
Vinegar and soap should be enough. Bleach takes forever to rinse away and can permeate the plastic tank.
Can't hear u
On my Chevy app, it has it 84200271 for a 2015 Tahoe.
Whoa! Fred Armisen has a youtube channel!
😅😆😂🤣
The new Leonardo Da vinci
This is one of the first things you learn as a carpenter apprentice in little Swissy land. Been using this method since 1976 to setup all my saws. Radial Arm Saw, Mitre-slider and Table saw. I used to hate the f-cking radial arm saws, because as an apprentice it was your job to make sure that they're all square. Got about 15 to 20 cuts out of it and those f-ckers were out by about 1/16th. over 12" wide board. Also hated them because they where f-cking heavy back then, at least 150 lbs. Guess who had to haul them around ? You guessed rite !!
Never seen a portable Radial Arm Saw, never even saw one in real life. All the ones I've seen were table mounted.
That muffler is probably the funniest biggest waste of time. I mean the shirt says it all . . . . 10 decibals + make this video + my time = this guy can't fix _ _ _ _ . Fill in the blank
😢
I made one of these today. It works great.
Very well detailed. Thanks for the inspiration.
Probably will never remove an adhesive mirror from the wall, but I found this video very, very interesting and informative. Thanks for sharing.
Bag it and use hepa filters
Is that yellow stuff spray foam? Do you recommend that too? Thank you
Yes, it's spray foam but the wrong type. The foam is used behind the molding or casing. It fills in the gap between the door jamb and the framing. You should only use foam labeled for windows and doors. It's usually white, the yellow stuff is for gaps and cracks and can easily bend a door jamb or window frame.
So.e video i watched maybe yours??? Offered up the idea to PUT A POOL FILYER COVER ON your wet dry vac filter b4 use it will block the filter from bei g damaged
Hi mark from england I use the 400 wet Stone and 1000 grip wet Stone and then use another strap.I find they are sharp
You and your friend do good work lol
What the cost benefit of the dust catcher? How many new filters could have you purchased for the cost of the setup you created?
Sound management was very poor. Too low on the voice and too loud on surrounding inputs.
I've been working on it. I think it's better now. LMK kzread.info/dash/bejne/hYSTrsanhti7eNY.htmlsi=9FDYdzELGi6N3r-5
7:09 LOL It's funny how neither one of them fit and you have to go back to basics. If two drain tools don't fit, and even your go-to groove joint pliers doesn't fit....then they need to just pass a law that these damn drain kits have to come with the tool to screw them in at this point 🤣 This is ridiculous.
Great video.
Jokes on you, I tied you I tied not and have a security system and surveillance cameras also motion detectors
@4:29 Putting the muffler on the exhaust port will throttle the suction of the vacuum.
Want it quiet? Replace the motor bushing with a bearing. I did, huge difference. Going on 10 years now.
What kind of bearing?
Use a bag
I use the shop vac to vacuum the filter
I want to see the starting of diagonal settings
Thanks learned a lot about this soft water system and cleaning and maintance
I started the first shim and the whole thing let loose! That was EASY! Thanks!
Thank you for giving the example sound at the beginning. My girlfriend and I were going nuts trying to translate the sound to a google search.
My lights are realy low and the tail lights not work any body not Wy
Poor design. Check the link in the video description for a fix of the taillights.
You should definitely sell this rebuild in different sizes, I am sure they will sell.
Cool ideas but I am curious if the muffler creates any drag on the intake of the shop vac. In other words, how much suction do you lose using the muffler? It's a great idea and I will do it with mine but I'm just curious. I don't have an areoameter so I was wondering if you could answer the question.
I don't have one either. I'm sure it slows down the airflow some but most shop vacs have more suction than you'll ever need. Just make sure you put plenty of holes in the muffler.
Awesome . Didnu shut off the resin tank hose before cleaning? I saw you at tye end of the video reaching behind the system and twisted something. Thx
That was my system bypass valve. I put in bypass so I wouldn't bring the clean tank back inside and find a flooded basement.
Very helpful. Ended up running a small zip tie through the holes in reverse, then taped the string to it and rand it back no problem.
The video thumbnail image showed a 'spade bit'. No spade bit was used in video. Won't watch nor trust this channel again, enjoy thumbs down.
😢
Very cool. You could the top bucket
What a great hack, thanks for a great solution:)
i thought you said we don't need any straight edge and yet you used one? Huh?
Thank you. We dont know when was our rebuilt but will take on this project next if the iron out cleaning doesnt help.
It's not very difficult. Definitely get the funnel.
Someone, anyone, please design a latching top to the canister of these shop vacs. These flimsy plastic clip handles loosen and wear out….my pet peeves…..
Design a vac that has a flat top so that you can put tools and screws there when working on a project…it is always near your project anyway…might as well use this roll-round appliance for two uses.
Design a vacuum that can be stored in the kneehole of a desk…
Hose storage and attachment storage on the unit are under-designed…..
😢
Give me a shop vac with soft wheels that can roll over its own cord without tipping over….or scratching the finish on a nice floor.
