  I just got my DJI RS3 Pro and I’m a newby. To be sure I got the DJI R vertical mount but having the portrait mode on the gimbal, is the vertical mount really necessary? 🧐

  Question. I just got my ring grip plus, And I’m not sure if the controller supposed to stay on all the time, or if it’s supposed to turn off when the gimbal is off. My grip with the controls turns on right away when I insert battery, but the gimbal is still off. Any info would be appreciated!

  i believe it is the same as the rs3 pro, you need to toggle to fpv mode on the right side on the gimbal first, then go to the screen interface and change it to 3D Roll 360

  when you are balancing the gimbal(when it's in horizontal mode), yes you need to calibrate it first, after when you turn it into portrait mode, you dont have to calibrate anymore

  i had the same curious as well, but after that from what I know, i think it is meant to be in this way of not folding completely (unless you manually fold it), just to prevent if you have extra accessories attached on the camera, and you forget to remove it before auto locking, that will crash between the gimbal and camera
