This is fascinating, because they both work much better improvising musically than they did with language, which is lovely to see. Thanks!

They wouldn't be able to do that today 2024 without every second word being an exploitive. Another version of Pete & Dud. Geniuses.

The actress that played her in 'a very British Scandal' was not a good choice. She played her like she played the Queen. Margaret is fascinating material for a proper character actor. Her subtle manerisms and grace were incredible.

Amazon and the BBC tried to present her as the victim of circumstances and of her husband's, the Duke. However, in reality she comes across as conniving, shameless and her lies, and cruel in her manipulations. Every single penny of her wealth came from men she exploited and humiliated. She was a narcissist who got angry only when she was caught.

This brave woman is standing alone -- against the press, against the establishment, against the courts. And I might say that she's won my admiration -- for her honesty, discretion and courage. Where the hell is her deadbeat Duke ex-husband? Is he facing the press, telling the truth? What a coward! He`s had the entire establishment babying him and protecting him, even the courts! Disgraceful! It puts the courts, the media and the establishment in the WORST light. Now we know they are not impartial. Now we know they will defend losers. Now we know they cannot hold to the truth, which ever way it turns out. Again, where is the Duke? Cannot he stand up for himself, tell the truth? Need the courts to bludgeon your wife for you, eh? Coward! Revolting! If the establishment (courts, aristocracy, media) has to protect him so, that alone should raise profound suspicions about those three institutions. A lot of suspicions. The courts, the media, the establishment -- beating up a defenseless woman -- very gallant! And the strongest proof of their perfidy! Margaret, Duchess of Argyll has won the war, as did Diana!

For some reason I am fascinated by The Duchess's hair. Was it her own and, if so, just how long would it take each day to style in that extraordinary way?

Captivatingly beauty. Utterly gorgeous. And good on her for having some fun. Too bad she had to pay such a high price for it. Men have been doing the same thing since the dawn of human culture 10,000 years ago.

Nu e nici o nostalgie gratuită. Nostalgicii regretă tătucul-dictator și apartamentul de la bloc. Habar n-aveau de cultură și libertatea cuvîntului. Le-a plăcut statutul de sclavi atunci, ca și acum.

This poor woman. She did nothing wrong. She was ahead of her time in terms of her belief in women freedom. She was strong headed and determined. But also, manipulated and blackmailed eventually by a bipolar amphetamines addict (Ian Argyll) whose only aim was to get her money and repair the Inveraray Castle. he had no profession, no skills and no way to get the money to save his house. So he used all his wives for that. Disgusting bastard.

Genius... nowadays talk shows are just a vehicle for flogging a new film or book or TV series. Graham Norton, here in the UK, is nauseating... a coven of luvvies practising their dark art of self-congratulation in the safety of an agreeable echo-chamber... His stupid laugh (often at his own jokes) and the fact he never asks a challenging or insightful question, sends me reaching for the remote... Parkinson was on another level...
