    How many yards were you zeroed in vs the target?

  • @MichaelWillems
    @MichaelWillems4 ай бұрын

    I usually zero them for 50 metres. Which is what this was.

    Are you satisfied with the gun in general or in specific?

    I am *very* happy with this gun. But I would definitely get the one with the accutrigger (or replace the trigger, as I did). @@alaricowen8760

    Have mine in a Boyds featherweight stock, made it a little heavier but well worth it for the improved accuracy.

    When your hammer is C++, everything begins to look like a thumb.

  • @MichaelWillems
    @MichaelWillems8 ай бұрын

    Also when your board is an Arduino and your IDE is the Arduino IDE, everything starts to look like C++. But seriously, the reason to choose a compiled language, for me, is that it seems more elegant. I do like the precision of C++, and I like the fact that it is compiled rather than, like Python, interpreted.

    @@MichaelWillems i love both of them ,:) Python is great if you wanna do coding challanges. I love doing real projects in C or C++.

    The Arduino Cloud is a fabulous way to get your WiFi equipped Arduino working online quickly and painlessly. The manual (download from the description) explains this circuit, and also contains, in the appendix, a short walkthrough of the Arduino IoT Cloud process. Enjoy.

    Loved it! Great stuff. Definitely making my own sometime. However, if you're into the idea of making your smart home yourself and not trust corporations with your comfort, you could also set up a simple server to run the cloud on. This way you own the cloud and don't have to worry about the Arduino cloud or any other cloud outages! Additionally, you can keep adding to your own server, i.e. add more monitoring tech, movie library, huge amounts of storage, etc. Then you can access your files from anywhere and be sure you won't lose them! Thank you for reading. Subscribed !

    If you were to throw this into an MDT Oryx Chassis. You’d be pleasantly surprised at the groupings. Obviously with the Savage Axis, with a 4-5 shot group typically you’ll have some fly out. But the $ is worth the investment, especially if your looking for the best accuracy out of this rifle. By no means will you be carrying it for hunting. You’ll be sitting and hunting with a tripod lol. It’ll increase weight, but will be 100% true free floating, and is an incredibly strong chassis. It’ll last longer than anyone living today. Lol

    With the new trigger kit installed, the trigger is much more of a hair trigger, and now my groups are certainly within an inch at 50m; much better than with the original heavy trigger. Mission accomplished, with that trigger kit!

    I've been looking at some scopes and I noticed two things the top type of scopes "eye relief"and "small field of vision" these two type of scopes might be best on the market but not in my market Leupold scopes, in vortex, Burris on the other hand seem to be eye friendly glass seems to be pretty bright and clarity and vision

    Accuracy looked fine to me. New rifle will probably get more accurate as you shoot another 100 rounds through it. Also, lowering your bipod legs will more than likely give you better accuracy as well.
