Had a Rusi TC 175 never had a problem with it...yes handling was interesting at high speed l changed the sprocket for more relaxed high speed maybe not such a good idea ...not comfortable on long trips due to skinny seat but as you say local and around town was good...brakes l found ok ...as you get free brake down service for a year when buying new and spares where easy to get plus free service for a year just give the macanic a drink all in all good service.. as l'm a gluten for punishment l sold my bike as l wanted a change and am currently considering a Rusi bolt 125 ...ride safe what ever you ride ..peace ✌️

excellent review of a bike I'd NEVER buy for all the right reasons.. that off idle "torque" you mention thats undefinableable is a factor of 2-valve motors & "swirl" vs tumble 4-valvers in combo with low comp engines & the way they burn in combustion.. likin the channel 👍👌🇳🇿🇳🇿

Awesome video bro! The KLX looks just as good as the CRF in mini moto/supermoto form.. I'm 6' with 32" inseam and the mini moto conversion on my CRF is the best! Plentiful tires here in the Philippines and now family and friends can easily get on it.. plus just rolling it around, less rotating mass it feels way lighter and the maneuverability while riding is awesome! The tire setup is same as the KLX here, but I went with 2.5x14 front and 3.0x14 rear rims so the rubber pokes out a little more.. super happy with my setup.

I'm 5' 6" tall & considered "short" by US beliefs but it never stopped me from sinking 3-point shots in B-Ball, leaving the tall guys standing there.... lol, most the bikes from 30 " to 36 " in seat height have soft enough suspension to bring your butt down to allow a firm footing on one side of the bike. I'm older so it's harder to throw me hip over but I'll take it to a parking lot for 3-4 hours to practice. After 4 hours of throwing your leg over a bike seat & practicing slow rides/turns, you'll be all the better on the roadways. Thanks for this video..... @@john.s1962 the weight and height difference between the 250 and 400 models is very minimal. For the height, there are ways to work around that. A simple solutions is a lowering link that drops the seat height 2 to 3 inches. I am currently working on an xr400 and will be posting it soon. 😎

The DRZ represents off the beaten track. The CRF300 represents urban fringes. As an adventure rider I'll take the DRZ over the CRF any day. The extra power is also a bonus.

popular because it's the most good looking in its category. 4 stroke dual sport bike should have at least 200cc. most sub 200cc 4T bikes are a joke in terms of power.

Yeah, we in America have had tool issues since the mid to late 70's..... you've got a discerning eye to see an artistic outcome of a bike & just enough mechanical skills to, " GiT-R-Done ". Being able to picture in your mind how different wheels sizes & styles will look is big & you know enough to do this. Without that "artsy" ability I doubt you'd be doing this specialized work & you are a special type of place. I don't even own a bike yet & I'm here bookmarking/saving concepts, even your address so I can send wheels to you to be done. I'm still saving for my bike but I've got you b/c you're able to make things happen & that's a gift you've honed over time. Now I'll watch what you do to this Harley to piss off hardcore Harley guys? Lol. I'm kidding you, I don't know jack-cH!T about Harley's or the owner's mindset. peace man

Do remember what I said about electrical stuff ; use a heavy foam like Rubbatex between the wrires & tank/seat so it can't arc later on..... I'm sure you remember me saying it? That's a touch that will save you down the road.

Hey man, Question: bought myself a 2024 crf 300 l rally. I would really want a supermoto set now i found some sets online from the crf450 arround 1000 euro with everything on them but im not sure if it fits my 300. would u say buy everything by piece like the hubs and get spokes and make it yourself like you do or u think i can make a set from a crf 450 fit with some spacers? Also you think it's even possible i order a plug & play set from you guys and u send it to the Netherlands ?:P I really like ur work :) thanks!

Not sure if the 450l wheels fit but to be safe don't get those. There are supermoto wheel builders near you that sell sets specific for the 300L. Check out Warp9, SMpro and Alpina if they can make one for you. Yes i can build you a custom set. I have hubs and rims in stock. Feel free to dm me in IG and i'll send you a quote.

Good question. I have been eyeing that bike ever since it came out and i'm on the lookout for a cheap used unit. As far as i know its a Chinese copy of Honda's CB400SS which is powered by the same engine found in the best dirtbike ever, the XR400.

Yes you can use tubes in a tubeless tire.
