  great video :) i work better at being on the go non stop, i hate having nothing to do, so that part would be great :) i do love checking fb, watching you tube, checking emails etc so id spend a stack on wifi hehe think id take your suggestion and download lots of shows :) what concerns me though is the safety trainig, i do not think i would physically be able to jump into a pool and pull a life raft over my head, or go running through an obstacle course, actually i know i couldnt. so im guessing that squashes any hope of me working onboard a cruise ship :( i would like to work in retail onboard if a position was open, but im surmissing that i would still need to do and pass the physical training onboard??

  Be prepared for something that's not for everyone 1.Are you ready to be away from home for a long time 2.lack of communication from home only at ports 3.work potentially long hours 10-12 4.the juice is worth the squeeze 5. Are you good at following rules 6. Different rules for different lines 7. safety team member 8. Save money 9. Do you enjoy customer service 10. So you enjoy working with guests/ very entitled 11. Have patience 12. How well can you handle stress 13. What are necessities to you/ these things may be limited 14. What do you wanna do on the ship(jobs)

  I just thought of working on a cruise ship and im curious to know if it’s possible to bring a significant other while you work? Like almost in a way living onboard. I’m interested in the spa department since im going to massage school and im trying to find people who have detail of their work life. I was also previously in the navy on a ship so i understand a lot of what you’re saying. I know airlines work for a week or more then have off but are cruise lines bare minimum of 6 months?

  I have a girlfriend that will work in a cruise ship next year. Should I be worried that she will cheat on me with other guys inside the cruise ship? I know it's hard not to get very attached out there since a month is like a year when you're cruising. Any advice?

I watched his bloody Mary video when I was in middle school or elementary school I’m not sure it was an old video but for some reason the only thing that I remember is the guy shining out the name again three times he looked up to his mirror with his camera he said the name after that he looked down and looked at the mirror with his eyes on the camera through the mirror and looked up and saw figure turned around and it was bloody Mary I think he’s dead or something it’s an old video Probably 2011 or something

  Hi John. Just stumbled across your channel and find your videos quite interesting. I am wayyy to old to be a worker on a ship but I do love to cruise but sadly have only done it once due to Covid19. I have a question regarding my room steward...would it be ok to bring them goodies such as toothpaste, laundry soap etc. to leave after we disembark? This would be on top of our gratuities of course. I thought a gift bag of goodies would be nice but certainly don't want to insult anyone. Hope that makes sense. Have a glorious day.

  This is a fantastic question! While it would be super nice to bring goodies, I would probably shy away from specifics. Money would be better as they may have specific brands they prefer or can use. I know me personally with toothpaste I only use a specific type and would not use any others. Just to play it safe, I would probably not do something like that unless you know 100% for sure...just to make sure nothing is wasted! I hope this helps! Plus the extra tip will allow them to purchase those supplies while in port. There are plenty of ports that have great shopping for crew member supplies!

  I heard that a married couple can get jobs on a cruise ship and share sleeping quarters. Have you met anyone like this? Also, is it odd to work on a cruise ship at age 45 or 50? We are both used to hard work but think that working on a cruise ship would be more lively than working at a desk.

  Hello! Yes there are married couples that live and work on board. They either come on together or one will get there earlier. All depends on their position and the availability on that particular ship. As far as a couple cabin, married couples have priority on these types, but different cruise lines may have different policies. as for the age, not sure you would make it....hiring someone who is a bit older as a new team member does not usually happen outside of a very select number of roles on board.

  Yes they have food options to cater to all dietary needs and religious observations. As for sharing a room, depending on your position and the cruise line there are certain jobs that have the perk of being in a solo cabin. Others will have a roomate
