  Along with the colorful Keel Bill, there are also Tocos (orange with black) chocos (yellow black), black billed (black beak with dark yellow throat), channel billed (black with light blue), Chestnut-Eared Aracari (the blackish/ orangish small one) Crimson Rumped toucanet (red and black beak /green body) and 3 species of hornbills (not toucans). The thumbnail is a toco.

  Nice ideas, but adding the shells to transplants is wrong. The shells will not break down for 100 years. The shells have to be in a powder form to be absorbed by the roots. So, I put them in a blender to pulverize them into a fine powder. Its very dusty so you must be careful with it .

  Last year I was getting little pinholes in the cucumbers. and the surrounding area would turn dark in there would be a clear liquid at the spot of the puncture. Trying to figure out what was causing that problem.

  Life is what you make it 🙂 this is beautiful. I find myself reminiscing on the old days when life was fun and exciting and so simple . However I’m thankful for all the trials and tribulations because they made me the strong woman I am today . Life is beautiful despite the rough days ...smile and press forward because it could be worse.
