Somehow I knew this wasn't going to work with my Advance Design Chevy Truck. The box says "works with any type of car" but it certainly doesn't work on a vehicle that doesn't come with a door lock in the first place. Super disappointed, but that's me throwing my money away on a Chinese product. At least your box came with a piece of paper with a wiring diagram. Mine was a small two-inch print on the bottom of the box that I almost didn't see. Anyone here clever enough to know how I can make this work on a truck that doesn't have a locking door at all?

Good job. I noticed a strut brace improved handling in my old TJ Magna, so when it's almost free, it's great bang for buck. Then I put coilovers on and it was amazing. Suggestion: Paint them silver to match the engine bay for a factory look. Or if you want something different, learn how to anodise them :) Thought: (I'm not an expert, so this is my thought, not a recommendation as such) The plates should be touching the strut top area as much as possible to spread any loads. If your spacer rings (washers) lifted the plate off the body work, then all forces will go through the 3 bolts first. I'd hate to see a failed bolt & subsequent suspension woes.
@elheffeschopshop3 күн бұрын
Hopefully it helps :) Thats a very good point, i did actually think the same thing about the spacers. Surely the strut bar wouldnt have enough movement when bolted in to actually do damage.. i guess we will see?

What does an earth point look like in a car and how do you find constant 12v source
@livemeyer2 күн бұрын
earth point is ground. Any metal part of the car. Constant 12v = battery. If you can't find something constant 12v in the interior (like cigarette lighter) then just run 12v wire through firewall to engine bay and attach to battery + post. Advise you do this last.
