This is the lovely, beautiful young lady Bill Cosby tried to have blacklisted because he saw her sleeping with her head in her older chaperone's lap, all this time he was drugging women and having sex with the limp bodies. Go figure.

Hadn't heard of Janis Ian when I read a positive review of Miracle Row in The Guardian in the late 70s. Bought the album and became a lifelong fan, though I only saw her live once, at Celtic Connections in the RCH, Glasgow in the late 90s, when she shared the billing with Iris Dement and Laura Cantrell, both talented singer-songwriters, but who lacked the sheer professionalism, confidence, and impressive back catalogue of Janis Ian. A rare talent.

Every one keeps talking about Sting, but Stewart drums the entire song and Andy Summers comes in with a lovely solo at 2:30.

It’s interesting that this is eight minutes and four seconds long on the original German, Harvest label release from 1978. Copeland isn’t credited as drummer on that one (which I own) but Evert Fraterman is. The length of the version in this video matches the 1981 US release on the Harvest label. Wish I had both versions to compare. Is this definitely Stewart here?

I remeber that performance in the "Circus Krone" in munich. I guess it was 1978, 1979, or maybe1980. They had the first laser show, relax seats (!) so you could appreciate the laser show projected onto the roof without getting a stiff neck, excellent sound and even cerstain smells to emphasize the whole performance. And although it's more than 40 years ago I still remember Eberhard introducing Sting as one singer who ist able to sing with two voices: belly and head - so remarkable! Eberhard wrote the perfect song for Sting - good job, well done! I'm very grateful to be an attendee of that concert, because it is part of musical history for sure ;)

Adel's show members couldn't do her show at Cesar's Palace, Los Vegas could you fill in? I've also asked Leonard Shaw, [Seattle, WA] to help out with an encounter session; he likes doing large audiences and will happily be reimbursed with old jewlery

Was ein geiles Brett....
