  Omg I haven’t seen this movie in YEARS!!! I remember my mom bought the VHS which was on sale for like $5 in RadioShack or Best Buy back in 2003-04, we had NO clue what the movie was about but it looked interesting. I was obsesseddd with RDJ after watching it, and I fell in love with this movie. Idk why is so goddam underrated!

  When I need a good cry I watch this movie. Saoirse Ronan/ Susie was perfect in this movie ❤ A movie that shows how precious life is and how Evil walks around looking for the right opportunity to hurt and kill the innocent. It breaks my heart for all the children who have been taken by evil. Years ago I read about Jessica Lunsford and she will always live in my heart. Only 9 years old she was living with her dad and grandparents when Evil had been watching her and snatched her from her bed. She lived in a mobile home park the perv lived in a trailer nearby and he kept her in his room for 2 days she was still alive when the cops went door to door and knocked on his. He knew he had to get rid of her so he told Jessica to get into the trash bag and that he was taken her back to her dad. The horror she must have felt when he dumped her in a hole and buried her alive in his backyard when they dug her up her fingers had managed to get through the two trash bags. I’ll never understand this type of evil 😢 keep your kids close. This world is so different than the one I grew up in.

  My father in law was in the same choir, in the same school as a child. His family managed to catch the last boat to Australia, so was saved from the same fate. This movie brought back so many memories for him.
