  😂😂😂😂, welcome to KONTAGORA, I currently live here, work brought me too. You described the journey quite well, journey in and out of the town is always troublesome, no good roads in and out of it at all, don’t even think of going through Lagos road, that’s a “badder” road😂😂

  @@Candysmakeover 😂😂😂😂, I live in the barracks, we have uninterrupted power supply here; at least since this year. My dear, you have to find joy in being your best friend here or engrossed in work, until you find good friends that will make you come out from time to time. There are really no fancy places here, it’s an old emirate with little to no development, I always call it a village😂😂😂. You will get used to it with time.

I call this place a village too because 😩😩😩 my actual village is cold, has accessible markets with cheap food stuff and available fruits & veges. Here, everything is a treasure hunt 🥺

  Wow thank you so much. For this video, I struggled as there was no electricity so I couldn’t use my artificial light. I just sat in front of a window and filmed, afterwards, I added the brightness while editing on the CapCut app. Maybe you can try this too

  The landlord won’t do it o. You’d have to do it yourself and the paint is not the only issue with the house. Water is an issue, ventilation in some of the rooms is not okay and they used louvres on the windows. 🥺

  Wonderful 💃🏾 a little tip, you can make it in smaller quantities and refrigerate till it finishes in about 2-4 weeks so that it stays fresh & doesn’t allow bacteria to grow inside from heat 🙏🏽

  I house hunted and even had my friend check the house out but apparently, agents will lie and tell you the house is not so far from where you work, the house is accessible, has good roads, elevando what not but my friend found out the house I intended to pay for was in the middle of nowhere, had muddy roads and was far away from the office, shops and everyone. So I had to house hunt when I came to Abuja.

  It’s really hot majority of the time. Like from April to August or even September, the weather is incredibly hot and I’m talking 40-42° hot. But from September, the weather is bearable and come January, it’s extremely cold. Like harmattan takes it’s full course there.

  @@chinasaferderick3547 I’d say 6-7 for me. There’s easy movement and access to things, it’s a large city and very business-oriented. Accommodation is cheap too(just hard to find). The cons for me were the harsh weather(hot mostly), discrimination when I was house-hunting, noise from certain areas and lack of water but if you’re able to get a house in a Christian dominated area(like jaba), you would probably enjoy Kano more than I did.
