Not to nitpick, but I'm from Greenock and your pronouncing it wrong. It's pronounced Green ock not gren ock. It's from derived from green oak as in oak tree. Hope that helps. We'll done in pronouncing Glasgow properly usually Americans pronounce glas gow instead of glas go. Hope that helps and hope you enjoyed your time.

Terracotta or Talavera? Big difference! Cruise ship people. There for a few hours and know little about what they are talking about. In the 15 years that I have lived in Progreso/Chelem ... I have never felt afraid. The people are kind and hospitable. We are in one of the Lowest Crime States in the Country. When you talk Cozumel or Cancun, you are in the state of Quintana Roo. Not as crime free as Yucatan. FYI ... Yucatan, Tlaxcala, Chiapas, Tamaulipas and Nayarit are the safest states in Mexico. Personally I find it insulting for a day tourist to make disparaging comments about a place that they know so little about in fact. We have huge expat communities in the Yucatan. Most of us are quite satisfied with our homes and community. Let me review your State ... New York ... Rats are a top concern for New Yorkers alongside crime, homelessness and exorbitant rents. Previous measures such as widespread traps and the use of poisonous bait have failed to successfully eradicate the problem. We don't seem to have these issues. SMH

You apparently don’t know the place names in Ireland were systematically Anglicized in the centuries long campaign by the Brits (you know, the ones the “British Isles” are named after) to stamp out Irish culture. Your inability to make sense of the place names is just one more of several badges of total ignorance on display in this video. Read a book sometime and take this video down in the meantime. Hello! Traveling to Cozumel in April 2025 and want to book a visit to Paradise Beach Club. I watched your video and was concerned about staring at all of those inflatable water floats while lounging at the beach. Is there any where to get away from them? Do they have a beach section that has unobstructed views of the ocean? It looks like a great place from what you showed in your video.
I don’t believe there is and honestly Cozumel doesn’t have the greatest beaches in my opinion.

This author has been told several times about the offensive term British Isles and has been asked many times to change it. This is a gross lack of respect for Irish people and the obstinate nature of Bill certainly does not endear him to the inhabitants of the Emerald Isle. We hope Bill and Angela enjoyed their journey back to USA Province, Canada.
As you very well know the term British Isles is insulting for people in Ireland. Whether the cruise lines use it or not, your obstinance in using it jars and I didn't even bother to watch the video. We can chat further about this the next time I visit the Canadian Isles (Canada + USA).
We Americans have thicker skin and are proud of our neighbors to the north so call us what you will! Have a great day and hopefully you can eventually get all of Ireland back from the British one day.

Having cruised this boat two weeks ago for nine days, you did not do it or the crew justice by a long shot. You were on the boat for maybe 3-4 days and seemingly all you talked about was what annoyed you. You barely showed the shops, did not show the two level theater at all, I don’t think you showed the Atrium or the views from above, the Library, the Internet Cafe. You spent far too much time on the least exciting deck which is 12. Groused about not being able to take your drink to the pool. Gosh what a gyp, as you saw, most people like to get into the pool. I saw people getting corrected, never saw anyone get “yelled at.” Overall you painted a very poor and inaccurate picture of this boat, its services, and its crew. I’m in my mid-60’s as it appears you are, and I cruise mostly Holland America and Celebrity ships. This is a completely thumbs down video. Btw, if the food brought to you isn’t to your liking, send it back. They will make another. They want to please. How lame to accept what they bring, be dissatisfied, and then whine about it in your “review” although you did not give them an opportunity to make the meal better. Maybe your more recent videos are better, less biased, more accurate, I don’t know. I’ll watch a newer video and maybe you’re not the grumpy old guy you portray in this video.
Thank you for your videos of the British Isles Cruise. You have given us so many ideas. Of all the videos we have found so far for our destinations, your videos stand out.
Even the homeless are polite in the UK. It's unheard of for them to be aggressive. I think a good way to get your bearings is by Uber boat day ticket (about £22, $26). There are lots of piers and you can jump on an off at will. You'll not see the 'inland' attractions (museums, and Buckingham palace for example), but you get to see lots of the 'main stuff'.

We love Aruba. I am curious though everyone saying it’s very good value. How much are people paying for 7 days all inclusive with flight? We’re from Canada 8 years ago we paid 1700 a person. And this year we’re paying 2700 per person.
Progreso uncomfortable because you didn't see more of people who look like you - outnumbered by locals ? Pretty pathetic. Don't bother coming back .
