  Hey! That camera was my A7c with the Tamron 20-40 f/2.8 I believe! Since changed back to apsc and running with the Sony a6700 + Sony 15 f/1.4!

  Wondering why there is so many GRD iv on the second hand market? They are pricey, all most like a GR3. I was thinking people want to get rid of there GRD4 to get a GR3. But then again I bought a Canon 5DMK2 recently and the photo quality is amazing.

  yeah because of the form factor, larger 1 inch sensor and the 70mm zoom but you could go with the x100vi or vii that has the longer 200mm lens!

  Hey Ryan, I'm a commercial pilot who likes taking photos from the cockpit. Looking for something better than Galaxy S21 but i don't want to lug around a dslr. I don't plan on vlogging, or shooting that much video at all. Would you recommend the mk5a? Torn between it and the mk7. I know the 7 is more expensive but i like the idea of the 200mm zoom. The 5a may do better with night shots, though. Or is there a better option in 2023? Thanks.

  Hey Todd! If you are prioritizing taking photos then def go with the mk7 for the longer reach on the lens! TBH you can’t go wrong with that series of camera though! But that 200mm will come in handy!

  Hey…i no longer have an x100v but i remember that the audio settings were nothing special. I did typically run it with the screen up (vlog style) and glued on some deadcat windmuffs and it help a bit!

  Hey Ryan, just got myself a GRD4 recently and loving it! Have you had any issues with dust before, and how have you protected it, if at all? It's a bummer the lens cap is discontinued because that would give me some peace of mind. Any advice?

  Yo Luke! Congrats man….I’ve had lots of cameras and for so many reasons this one is the my forever cam. No real dust issues but I just let it ride. I litearlly blow on the lens sometimes but other than that i just figure if one day it’s a problem, I’ll try to find another one!   Small sensors with small body cameras so not great overall compared to an actual large body camera with IBIS but gets the job done!

  I hear ya man, I do this a lot now. When I go out, I don't even take my phone with me. I can pay for things on my watch, I can reply to messages on my watch, I can and take calls on my watch, I can do most things with my watch. I don't need my phone. This small piece of tech is letting me be me again and not a slave to it. I also have Focus modes set up so I can disconnect to those who are being a distraction. Like not taking work call, texts, or emails after I get home. My live, my family and my health is more important. Enjoy life mate.

  It’s does not have the single push-button defocus but you can achieve it by shooting in aperture priority and keeping your lens at f/1.8! Hope that helps!

  Oh no….I used the watch for most things but some functions on the watch only work with the phone nearby so didn’t want to take the chance on missing a flight since I was entertaining customers that night! But def leaving the phone behind more often and becoming more confident on the daily!

  @@ryanfromDetroit Hmm, that’s sad. I considered to use it as a phone replacement in cases when phone is out off battery but seems like it’s not quite possible. Can you call those things which are unusable without a phone?

  Most of it will work but things like airline tickets need to preloaded and/or establish a connection with the iPhone app ahead of time so makes it a bit tricky when trying to fly to another state and leave the phone at home! So cellular, text some email and things native to the watch work just great!

  This exactly why I bought an apple watch with cellular. To enjoy life more is to unplug more often especially for me as I'm getting much older and like to slow time down as much as possible.

  The Apple watch ultra is just more or less an extension of your phone on your wrist. A Garmin watch is probably better suited for taking a break from your phone

  Thanks for chiming in Laolu.....funny you should mention that! I had an old apple watch about 3 years ago and decided to go Garmin for that exact reason. What I've noticed over the years is that I still like certain notifications like text messages, phone calls and meeting reminders (I lead a team of 7 for my company) so even though I was disconnected, I would still have to pick up my phone when there was an important message that comes through (friends, family and coworkers). I noticed this led me down the rabbit hole of checking my email, LinkedIn, etc. etc. So now I am working to refocus my attention and the apple watch minus the phone should help! Will keep you posted....thanks!
