    So how many times do you wipe your ball during three games

  • @vincentortiz2609

    Queenbee I don’t wipe it at unless I need to wipe by the fingers which is rare. A reactive bowling ball absorbs oil at a pretty good rate, and wiping the ball with a shammy gave me an over under look. So since I do surface my ball before league night I feel as though my ball is more consistent in ball reaction. Thanks for watching my videos.

You can also order big bottle from a company called Alumilite they have big bottles and also some neon colors as well. Thanks for watching the video.

    What are your thoughts on a short pin for a matched player with the NU? (note: I have the original rattler as a benchmark)

  • @vincentortiz2609
    @vincentortiz2609Ай бұрын

    Pete. Short pin layouts work best on big asymmetrical balls. I would use your benchmark layout on this ball. Just use your core and cover stock to see something different. The Rattler is a bit stronger than the Hammer NU as the cover is slightly better. My understanding is that Phil Cardinale from radical had this ball before hammer did. So rumor is he waited to see how well the Hammer NU did. Hope this helps thanks for watching the video.

    You should be good to go with Mike. No matter what shop there’s always bound to be someone unhappy with something. It’s just how things are. Mike was on tour and is also a product specialist for Brunswick. Just talk to him and explain your issues he should be good to go. If you are using interchangeable thumbs you could always get your specs. Send them to me I can put them in my system and I’ll have them anytime you want a ball drilled as we can do the whole transaction over the phone and I can ship you the ball. We can do it with a slug as well but with an interchangeable thumbs it’s usually easier unless the shop that did it originally tries to grow a brain and change the factory depths on the drill bit.

  • @vincentortiz2609
    @vincentortiz26092 ай бұрын

    Hey there. So I am located in Las Vegas inside the SantaFe Station bowling center. So what you are describing is called the sarge Easter grip. It was designed to lower your rev rate and ease pain in the ring finger. It does make it feel like you are lifting up the ball versus rolling it off your hand. Watch Brunsnick he has that grip and explains it but it was makes him release on the upswing and come around the ball a bit if that makes sense. You turn a door knob but roll a ball off your hand. Thanks for watching and the reply.

    Dennis absolutely you can bring it back up to factory finish. The technology in today’s balls are amazing at how much you can change them over and over. The only issue comes when you get too aggressive and eventually scuff it so much you end up erasing the serial number and or labels. It most bowlers know end up getting something new when that starts to happen. Hope this helps and thanks for watching my videos.

    Joe. If your PSO doesn’t really talk with you about your bowling style or even tries to get you on the lanes to watch you bowl and get as much info from your ball as they can then maybe it’s time to look elsewhere. In my opinion your ball driller should be available for you not the other way around. I may not be able to get out on the lanes to watch a person bowl. But if they bring me a ball they just recently bowled with I can usually get info just by looking at your ball tracking. Ball drillers are like car mechanics, once you find one you like you keep going to them until you find someone you like even better. Good luck and feel free to ask me any questions.
