@@SurFrankenRon yeah give it a shot if you go in to buy. I went from a 701 to the 698 and mannnn it’s a different beast. You don’t have the same instant punch low in rpm’s it rides more like vtwin mixed with a inline4 top end. It has a strong mid range but makes peak power at 9500rpm. It’s hard to describe but so addicting! I’m at 3700 miles and still makes me giggle every time I get on it.

how do you tun it off? I did not manage to turn it totally off during my test ride.

You have to go into settings , ride mode, and edit any mode you want. In there you select dwc and it will let you turn it off.

If you could, could you explain exactly how you going into the settings and turn it off do you need to hold down a button? What do you do? If you hold the clicker down it makes you exit the screen. How did you do it?

@@Bethementor1 you just go into setting and edit a ride mode. In whatever ride mode you pick when you scroll to dwc it’ll let you turn it off. You have to be sitting stationary though!

Nothing of that sort . I will say it takes a solid ride for the ecu to learn the new set up. So it’s best to install it and go ride for about an hour .

Great video, Brady! Wouldn't mind knowing where your riding area is? Doesn't have to be exact location, but general area? It suits the bike's purpose, for sure. So, all mods except the Factory power uprate?

Thank you🙏 Kitsap peninsula ! Tons of good twisties and waterfront roads. Yeah, no upmap because I just bought a slip on. So factory catalytic converter is still in place.

@@MotardPilot Oh wow! I have a riding area 260 miles away from You! That converter is the last piece, noticed a difference on my Dorsoduro when I got rid of it: cooler exh temp, and just more responsive from bottom to top.
