    You DON'T want your post to be level. No one will be able to see the sign - because it will be lying flat on the ground. Level means parallel with the horizon. Use a level or plumb bob to make sure your post is PLUMB - meaning straight up and down.

    oh fuck🙄. Why did you present a bad montage to the viewers? On the thumbnail of the video, the handle is correctly mounted, and you show the installation in reverse.🙄

    The first opening in the video would never pass ADA Code Inspection in California. The bottom rail on the door needs to be a minimum of 10" and the walkway to the threshold can only be 1/2" up no more. Has a 5 year warranty. For ONE TIME USE ONLY. So you can't practice or check if the ladder is safe. What if there is fire after 6 years and the ladder breaks or is defect.

    I know this may come as an odd question but can this also be used to lock a breaker in the “on” position? We have someone who’s targeting a particular tenants power when frustrated or mad at them. Thank you.

  • @JM-gx7iv
    @JM-gx7iv3 жыл бұрын

    No. No. And no. I understand why you would want to do this, but it's a major safety hazard. If you lock the breaker in the on position it will not allow the breaker to trip in cases of short circuit/etc. That is a major fire and safety hazard. Lock the breaker panel or junction box, not the breaker. Hope this helps even though I'm late.

    *My family are firefighters≖>**share4.photo/EscapeLadder?ㅗ ** This product came well-packaged with clear one-time use instructions. The price is great. I have 3 2nd floor bedrooms plus bonus room and wanted to be sure I had an escape route out a window should the stairs be blocked by fire. This company Kidde makes fire extinguishers as well. I keep 1 extinguisher upstairs in the same room as these fire ladder stairs, near the window. Great for a gift - which might save the life of someone you care about, too!*

  • @JRP3music
    @JRP3music4 жыл бұрын

    It is probably designed for one time use, due to the way it is packed and difficult to get it back to ready to go use by the consumer. I would love to be able to do drills to be prepared better.

  • @god1246

    Not supposed to cement the poles because if someone drives into it can hurt them, but you are supposed to pack the dirt around the pole so its not so loose

    What about for wide window sills? Mine is wide :/, with a (seemingly unstable) wooden edge at the end. So if I put that escape ladder on, I am worried that it would slip up and off. So given that my ledge is super wide, will that still work? Would you (or anyone) know anything about this? I am starting to look into getting a safety ladder or rope because there has been at least one fire a year in each apartment block I've lived in for the past couple years... so I want to be prepared...
