  I love this level, too. I replay it every summer, because it feels like being on vacation on a tropical island. When it's hot outside and the sun is blazing, I sit down in a cool, darkened room with a cold drink full of ice and a funky straw, and I imagine being there, breathing in the unfamiliar scents of nature, feeling the hot sun on my skin, the cool underground breeze, listening to the birds singing and the wind blowing among the leaves. When I reach the top, I sit down on the ground to look at the ruins below in awe, taking my time to take in every detail, to etch every moment into my memory. I feel at peace, my mind roaming freely among the ancient walls, wondering about the people who built it and the life they lived so long ago. The person who carved this pillar, who were they? Did they live a happy life or a sorrowful one? Were they proud when they looked up at their work after it was finished? What were their worries, what brought them joy? Touching the warm stone, I feel connected to them somehow, as they were touching this very stone hundreds, maybe thousands of years ago. I close my eyes to focus on this connection. A light breeze in my hair, my lungs full of the heavy, humid air full of flavour. I hear the waves in the distance as they crush onto the stones. I wish I could stay here forever, in this moment of wonder. But I have to move forward, for there is so much more to see..

  This was just a DEMO so he could aply for a job, but that was never stated clearly when this apeared online. It was introduced as a remake but is now abandoned. All the free publicity by basically lying about the goal of making this. basically just scamming people in downloading an sharing this so the designer can show those numbers AND the awesome looking demo to future hirers. The things people will do over the backs of others.... I hope he's really proud of the fact he gave lots of people FALSE hope just to get to his goal. the website isn't even updated last time i looked for progress. still listed as a remake ffs.

  Blame some of the crazed fans for it not going further. They literally made a go fund me behind the creators back when they didn't ask or need it and that got crystal noticing. Could have been threatened or sued but was limited for what he could do after. Honestly. Some people don't think.

  Polished! As good, if not better looking than ‘Anniversary’. Probably needs to be pitched and developed as a alternative adventure, starting at the familiar Great Wall of China. But with new events and experiences seeing we now have the Remastered TR2. 👍🥇

  I was shocked that this was only a demo example of what the person was able to do I think the person needs to complete the whole of the game and then have it available to buy on steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X and S and Xbox One and PS4 and PS5

  While I'd like to see a TR2 remade like this, if I were the original author of this, I'd go the extra mile and make my own original title, has clearly the skills to make a great exploration game

  I think the the ppl who designed this demo made it in the style of TR anniversary which was part of the “legend trilogy.” they used the same voice actress’ voice clips which makes sense. Also agreed, TR legend is super underrated today. Legend Lara was the a great balance between the newer deeper more human Lara we got with survival era and the superhero like actobatic fantasy that classic Lara was.
