Can you explain the technique for the two fortresses where you are only able to pass crouching?

Certainly! The frog has a higher acceleration than normal Mario, at 2 speed units/frame instead of 1. This makes it possible to go from speed 39 to 41, bypassing the normal limit of 40. This extra speed unit makes you move at 2,5 pixels + 1 subpixels every frame. This is just barely enough to be able to clip far enough into a wall that you'll start scrolling to the right instead of getting stuck and be zipped out to the left. Hope that makes somewhat sense... :D

@@FoguYanker It's very very precise, many frame perfect jump and you need to be at the exact subpixel perfection position to get it. I don't think anyone has done it and there will never be a reliable to do it either. You could keep trying until you get lucky though.

Wow didn't know about some of those timesaving maneuvers. I thought it was awesome when I noticed that you could skip going to the village and just find Sahasrala in the East, but these go beyond that.

1 hour and 16 minutes, going up to the second Vaati phase. Sadly, I've been stuck in that fight for months, with motivation for it being non-existent currently.

This is a romhack for the game and not an original release by Nintendo :). The Japanese version of the original game is mostly the same though, smell variation however, but not as major as here :D

Unless theres been a fix this doesnt work anymore. Been trying it for hours. I need to get the cane of somaria to defeat turtle rock first for an achievement. And this is the only thing i could find on how to get into misery mire without the whistle.

Wow, Millstone Mayhem was the definition of big-brain time. Going through incredible lengths to sacrifice Diddy Kong to allow Donkey Kong to take the warp barrel, only to sacrifice Donkey on reentry to allow Diddy to finish properly.

Books are overrated. This segment stood out to me as I still remember having to push those switches to unlock the actual boss room. Never thought a pot, fairy revival and Ocarina (for clipping, not the usual freeze glitch) would be the solution to this.
