  The man in the wall is actually directly above the sanctum. Go to the pager spot, turn back around towards the main area, and look straight up, and he's just there.

  If we play as lotus i think it's possible she's known about the lab from before we did we don't know how much she knows about 1999 either she may take it as trying to protect us

  I think the door Theory is a bit weak, those clouds and smoke coming out and in could easily be the dust lit by those, and the Mouth being an "exhaust" also a bit, straw-graspy. I suspect we get a discovery-type prologue, explaining a bit of why exactly the lotus got her eye in the void, and how.

  Actually we do see two after the new quest in demo's that lets us get dante,you see ours an then the other man in the wall sitting in a chair

  I like the idea that its gonna be a short quest like the Chimera Prologue. Instead, I want to play as Lotus. A short mission, you notice a think in the void that seems like a Tenno needing help, you go and investigate willingly and end up in the Void. The Void has the ability to warp space, and if Duviri is anything to go off of, Time. Thus, its not totally unfeasible to think that since the Void is toxic to sentients, Lotus would need to swiftly flee through one of the portals and could possibly end up in 1999. Perhaps this could even be an opportunity to kill a few murmur as the Lotus, and learn a little bit of what her power is like. whatever they do, Im hoping it keeps me on the edge of my seat for 1999!

  Wally kills the lotus? Idk they crush a lotus flower in the end of Whispers in the Walls and the quest is called Lotus eaters. But it probably won't happen since it she just got big character development in the new war so maybe some other things

  I mean it'll explain why the Drifter is in there, buuuuuuuuuuut I imagine the Lotus hand from Duviri might actually have some significance as to why Drifter can go and why Operator can't. Otherwise it'll probably be like "Drifter HAS to go to 1999 and bang these characters just to save lotus I swear guys"
