  If you pinch the lock with your pointer finger it will work like a compression lock. 👍🏻 Just ordered this model from Knives Ship Free for $168. Couldn’t pass it up. 🤦‍♂️ And just got a crucarta military 2 last week. Bad habits are hard to break. Enjoy your knife

  the compression lock is designed to have your fingers outside of the blade path when closing the knife...YMMV

  For $205 you can keep it. I have an Old Timer that was my grandfathers and rarely do I ever need to sharpen it. Also have a $20 Kershaw that stays pretty sharp, so pass.
