The Rage Academy is a KZread Channel dedicated to gaming content.
On this channel, we're on a never-ending quest for the best wireless gaming mouse, the best gaming monitor, & the best gaming headphones, We regularly post reviews about gaming mice, gaming keyboards, gaming monitors, microphones, gaming headphones, mouse pads, mouse mods, and anything I can get my hands on.
In addition to gaming tech reviews, I also post educational tutorial videos about video production, live streaming, editing, graphic design, and animation. If you need any help with your videos or stream, let me know! I'd love to help out.
You'll also find entertaining clips of me and my buddies playing different games such as Rainbow Six Siege, Apex Legends, Battlebit, CSGO, Battlefield, and other FPS shooter games. I will occasionally stream on Twitch and on KZread (simultaneously, ask me how and I'll make a video about it). If you need help setting up your gaming live stream, let me know!

this review made me feel like it was a film about a villain and a hero
I loved the pedecessor, the "G502 Proteus Core". It felt valueable, and the wheel was made of metal. Clicks had clear haptical clicks, but gave no harsh feedback whatsoever. The "G502 X Lightspeed" as the descendant appears to be a shadow of its "mother". It's extreme lightweight, it's plastic, clicks feel "hollowish"...
I see these comments. What are these cheaper rapid trigger keyboards?
I actually have a video coming that is similar to this so had to sub, all these budget mice and even mice right under 100$ are on par with those at the $160 dollar range and its crazy. Using the F1 Ultimate atm and its my fav shape to have release in years, performance is insane, stock skates are nice, coating and click are spot on and weight is around 38g. for ONLY $65.......... Razer, Logitech, others like Gwolves, Vaxee and Zowie that price their mice at $150 or more is a straight up scam.
I got it wrong, so i did like the video But you won't fool me again 💪

Plz tell for 1080p 60 fps
15-20mbps
it looks clean if you ask me but i have this cool idea, basically take the mouse case and put the Logitech tech in that case cool idea, but will cost you alot yah...
Not a bad idea to try and retro fit a logi pcb in there. I’d probably do attack shark since they’re so cheap though
@@TheRageAcademy i use an ajazz 099 good price for the performance
First video that I saw from this channel, loved it. That's some high quality content right there. Keep up the good work. <3
Thanks man ☺️I’m glad you liked it
damn is there a way to have that thock sound but louder? Like non lubed its loud but scratchy, lubed its thocky and deep sounding but quieter.
@@BlaziKent94 I’m sure there is. But I’m not sure how much of it is end-user changeable. It’s always a balancing act out of the building materials, switches, keycaps, foam, etc. I will say that maybe my little mix doesn’t do this on justice. It’s plenty loud in person
I still think my current Viper Mini will serve me good. Will probably replace it with either one of those if this one bricks.
Came to KZread to watch a more in-depth video after seeing this on TikTok. The tiktoker was very obviously not very into tech like you and I are, and when they said "the buttons are really weird" I immediately was like "THATS A KEYBOARD SWITCH!!!!" and the nerd that likes weird stuff almost bought it. Hearing you say it's just a regular mouse switch was heartbreaking lmao and then when you said to not use it for gaming I was shattered
Sorry to break your heart man! That's why I exist though. I'm real tired of the Tiktok tech review bros giving dishonest reviews on gaming related tech. They're all out for commission!!
their prices on aliexpress went up
RIP. Have you tried the first time buyer discount with them?
pls review the atk blazing sky f1 ultimate next
I actually just got an email for ATK regarding this mouse yesterday. I'll add it to the line up
@@TheRageAcademy yo, ty man
Love your vids you're truly underrated
Thanks man 🙏
tell me if there are also underrated keyboards from china as this good mouse
@@ielhamrohaimi9668 I personally really like Akko, but it depends on what you’re looking for out of a keyboard
I recenly change my integrated graphics to a gpu and i dont have the option to record, i have the driver downloaded
Have you downloaded Adrenaline? You won't be able to use features like this without it
@@TheRageAcademy i found the fix, i just disabled the intergrated graphics, but i started getting laggy when i did it. it fixed the record but i was at like 14 frames so i just use obs now
does this comes off with bluetooth dongle
No bluetooth dongle. Only a 2.4ghz wireless receiver. The bluetooth is handled internally
@@TheRageAcademy aight the receiver was im talkin abt i found it near the censor it was so hard to open i nearly destroy the mouse
I ordered a Darmoshark M3 around a month ago and i have been loving it It is so good for its price the only thing which bothered me is the coating, took me some time to get used to it but apart from that no complains the battery lasts me almost a week lol
Yeah, that's the one spot where the chinese brands tend to cut corners. The coating on a lot of the Shenzen mice tend to be raw plastic instead of something finished
have you seen attack shark k85 and k86? they are straight up the best cheap version to wooting 60he
I have now! I'll add them to my Ali cart
china is straight up taking off capitalism mega corporations masks off. they are showing the actual product prices with little to no proffit margins
EVERYTHING on Amazon is actually just dropped shipped aliexpress products. From mice to costumes to dice, literally everything on Amazon comes from Ali
I watched your video. It was flawless, then I thought you have at least 500k subscribers. You are doing an amazing job, keep it up.
You made my day! Thanks man 🙏
Hey, do you have a link to the Akko Web UI? I just couldn't find it through google.
Hey man, I couldn't find it either. I think they may of removed it. When I was using it, it was in the beta version. Perhaps they're fine tuning it? It'd really be a shame if they got rid of it completely, I really liked the feature
Thank you for bringing out the unbiased opinion of a normal brain... One more banger for you. Look at Razer Viper V3 Pro vs ATK Blazing Sky X1. You will be surprised there too. BUT you all need to understand the following, it is all about security. A Chinese manufacturer won't be held responsible if they can access your computer and your data by a trojan infected chip, firmware or an unsecured wireless frequency, Logitech or Razer will.... You pay for security too not only the product.
It's on the list! That's a pretty good point about home cyber security. It reminds of the Chinese made smart home accessories that constantly call home to a Chinese IP address
Me and my homies love China also WHY DOES EVERYONE PLAY OVERWATCH STILL
It's fun 🤷♂️
@@TheRageAcademy unfortunately
I want to buy now. I'm confused about shark attack or kysona. I have owned the glorious Model D for 3 years and do you recommend which one I should buy?
They’re the same mouse so which ever you can get at a lower price ☺️
Now what do you advise me to buy?
Which ever you can get for less. The X3 or the M600
This video is informative and has great production value, I was shocked to find you're only at 1.9K. Truly underrated.
Thanks man 🙏We're slowly climbing our way up...
@@TheRageAcademy Also I see you play PUBG, can I get your username?
attack shark x3 is just a cut below lets say a superlight 2 and the r1 is pretty much above both - even boardzy calls it like top 5 or 6th mice of almost any mice rn i think
I got one on order. We'll find out if I agree
Got the Basilisk V3 for 50$ a year ago, and the Rapoo VT9 Pro for the same which is lightweight, wireless and claims 160H of battery life. Puts into perspective how much of a ripoff these brands are.
They hear "gamers" and think dollar signs...
75 hours battery life??? My Logitech G603 uses AA batteries and lasts for months.
Double A batteries are much heavier. 75hrs is like the average for most wireless mice I'd say
The false info from their website is gone. But but but, you forgot to mention that the black is using PVC and not magnesium
Big mice wont like this! Btw on my way to get this mouse 😂 also if your gonna go down the chinese mouse rabbit hole check out the darmo shark m3. I checked elo shape and its basically a viper v3 pro clone
Big mouse is coming for us bro 👀 I'll check out the Darmo Shark M3!
This video is so high quality I didn't expect it to be on a channel with under 2k subs as of writing this comment, and this video was on a subject I actually found to be interesting and useful for me. Thank you for the useful information and I can tell your channel is gonna explode at some point.
Thanks man! You made my day bro. We'll break through eventually. I'm all about providing unbiased accurate information to everyone. Hopefully one day it pays off!
bro you deserver 1million sub nice content
You made my day ☺️ thanks bro
@@TheRageAcademy your always welcome bro☺
Hi, could you do a short tutorial on the am8 effects? My mic arrives soon and i wanna sound this great 06:10 --- 06:18
Sure thing man. What was your use case? Are you recording voice overs or using it for stream?
i wish i watched your video sooner, i bought G pro superlight X 2 6 days ago :(
Feels bad man
Can you review op1 8k?
It is on the ever growing list!
dont buy this crap... doubleclick problems after 2 weeks...
I have 2 and I didn't experience any of these issues. That sucks though. Maybe you got a bad batch? If you mail it to me, i'll fix it for you for free! (i'll make a how-to-repair video)
A mouse is just a pcb with common components screwed onto a plastic shell. No mouse should cost over 80$
why not just run it wired while gaming?
You could if you want, I personally don't like the cable drag while gaming. I don't think the polling rate increases over cable either
rather than simply getting ripped off, when you do your manufacturing in an outside facility, they get the knowledge and experience, (in china, sometimes the blueprints too) so then they can just make their own version after a while, and because in places like china where every factory is basically sitting next to it's partner factory, they have lower logistics costs.
I'm a Brazilian and here, it is almost our duty to buy things of AliExpress because of availability and high prices on almost everything that sells here. I've been using an Ajazz Aj139 Pro and was surprised Kysona was manufacturing them too! I have an Attack Shark X3 and love it! I was looking for the Kysoona because of the bigger battery. Glad to hear they are the "mother" of these great products!
I have an Attack Shark X3 for a few months. No one should be buying this mouse. My copy came with a crooked M1 button that is getting stuck. It's also randomly stops working for a second, most of the time in game. This is probably a firmware issue and i don't expect it to be fixed.
That sucks man. Maybe you got a bad batch. I have 2 and I haven't had any issues in the months I've been using them
hello in the video you talked about the opportunity to connect headphones to the microphone so you can hear your own voice in the headphones in real time. In addition to your own voice in the headphones you can also hear the audio of the video games/music I'm playing or just the mic audio?
Yes, we are getting ripped off by big companies. I bought 3 of these mice and every single one is working great. for me 3 mice costs around 100$.
Still a better deal than 1 GPX
The Rage Academy>>>>>>>boardzy
SHOCKING
Really good review. Informative, entertaining and beautifully made. You clearly know a thing or two about video production. You also grilled the company a bit but in a cool constructive way. Very impressive! If I was your dad I would be proud.
Thanks man! You made my day 🙏
You should try swapping out the Raesha switches for Razer switches! Razer’s are binned differently and feel way better than the stock ones on the X2V2. Edit: The mouse sensitivity setting changes the Windows pointer sensitivity. If you raise or lower it and check Windows settings, it changes the same amount as the amount you change in Pulsar Fusion, though you may need to open and close settings for it to reflect.
The real tip is always in the comments. I'll give it a shot in the future
What do I think? They are absolutely ripping people off. Also subbed. I echo the sentiment regarding the VXE R1 Pro. It's basically a Pulsar X2 without their diabolical QC issues, and it's a mere fraction of the price. I'd still be maining it but I'm an idiot. Currently maining the Zowie U2. I comfort myself that the phenomenal charging solution made the purchase worth the £130 that I paid...
I've been eyeballing the Zowie for sometime. I'm thinking i might pick one up for review with KZread money. Have you been enjoying the U2?
@@TheRageAcademy I think it's an excellent mouse. With the caveat that it's aimed at claw grippers only, basically.
