In every small town there is always someone who like to complain about something they do not like or talk behind someones back. Other people with in the community will stick up for the people with out a voice . How about the Disability People ,Seniors of our community and the Laws that pertect us all . A message to them people would be if I could say would be Do not bite the people of your community or point fingures cause you all know it will come back and bite you sooner or later. Someday you may need us all and we will not be there for you .

I realize this is an old video, but WOW, what a gorgeous tractor. Do you still have it? Watching this depresses me, in part, bc about 2 years prior to you making this video I convinced my father to sell his 1981 1086 Tri Stripe he bought brand new. Your tractor is identical to his and it saddens me its gone. It too was in excellent shape. This winter I put a lot of time and effort into finding it and it's had about 4 owners since we sold it, and the misfit owners trashed it...almost unrecognizable. 😕 I'd have 35-40k into bringing it back to it's former glory...more than I can afford or justify for a memory.

I sure do (still in mint condition as it's a parade tractor) and thanks for comments. I really need to do a newer video though with a better camera with the technology of today!

@@IH986fanawesome! You’ve got a real gem; It’s a time capsule. 16 years ago when I encouraged my father to sell it bc I thought everything on our farm had to be green and yellow, I never would’ve guessed how saddened I’d be with his 1086 gone today, but time marches on and so will I. Thanks for sharing…hope ya post a current.

Very ironic that these tractors were for the next decade when they were replaced by the MXs in 1998 just 2 years after they were introduced

There is about 300 people live here in Holtyre Ontario Canada. Sure it only has 3 streets and it is growing again . I live here as well . I am trying to get more history and advance on this Village . I understood is was and is a non-conforming Township of Hislop Township in the area of Black River Matheson , Knowen now as Holtyre Ontario. I would also like to know when the Township of Matheson Took over the surrounding area,s including Holtyre and the year they did this or any other information that you could provide ,would be amazing !

From what I recall growing up, it was around 1970. I stand to be corrected, but I believe this may have been around the same period of time that the high school 'lines' changed. At one point the kids south of Matheson (Ramore, Holtyre, etc) were bussed to HS in Kirkland Lake. That changed and all were bussed to Iroquois Falls, meaning all students in the "new" township were all bussed to the same HS. Hope this helps and makes sense.

Deere's 8000 tractors are much better than this "toys". Spacious cab, good 8,1l power tech engine, many h.p under the hood ...the best on the plains

The funny thing is this is all marketing fluff. This machine, and the ones before it were all made by Hesston (Agco) and built for Case IH. As were the swathers and balers of that era (1987-2000).

Like running over less on the endrows with articulating 4wd. Like the tail wagging too, quickly fixes cultivator blight. Uncool is trying to see where the rows are around those blimp front tires, but it looks supremely cool!

I work at a mccormick dealership and we get some MC series in the shop once in a while and I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. I've never seen 1 go to 20,000 hrs like I have the 6000 series JD but the JD guys with that kind of hours are way more prone to doing routine maintenance where as some of the guys with MCs just beat them to death

this tractor was case ih's first step in the very wrong direction, Tenneco owned Case and purchased IH they decided to build the highest quality most dependable tractors on the market, they succeeded for awhile, but then Fiat came along and purchased Case IH, Fiats plan to build cheaper tractors with inferior products so they could sell more parts and keep all of their dealers overloaded in repairs, on top of that Fiat decided to discontinue manufacturing parts for older Case & IH tractors, it is sad to see deere fallowing Fiats lead by building lower quality equipment and higher cost and repair deals, Fiat sticking a perkins in the mxc tractor was only the start of the big turds they planned to drop on a great equipment company
