I love watching this movie, its inspired movie making. It goes to show what you can do with little money and no established actors. All this movie had was plenty of imagination, and that was plenty enough for it to be a success.

I remember that era. I never understood why people thought any of it was actually funny. But I was a little kid raised on jim carrey movies and austin powers, etc. But once I got older, I started to get it. I actually find it relaxing in some ways. And some of it is funny as hell. Now I hope a new era of that style kicks off and we get some new actors and directors from it.

The real question is, what will they achieve by placing the nurse under arrest? Was she physically stopping/preventing them from doing what they want - NO ! She just repeated what the hospital policy is. That arrest was nothing more than a intimidating tactic, trying to show the hospital that they can do whatever they want l, cause they are cops. Fragile ego's hurt, it was soo clear the power trip of both these "men" the one that dragged the nurse and the one that talked to her in the car. He was soo pissed, that someone said "NO" to him, he had to resort to intimidating tactics and HORRIBLY fail trying to explain why 😂 it was funnily sad to listen to that excuse of a human being trying to reason his failed ego actions.

I sat through this till he threw army man out of bus on string & couldn't take it! Only thing at all slightly amusing was when dude flipped out over phone bill. Tackiest, uncouth, visually nauseating crap ive seen. Makes Jon Waters look like Spielberg by comparison! AND I GREW UP WITH HARMONY KORINE!!! Now thats saying something!😅 However, thats just ME saying something!🤗💕 And mostly out of envy i suppose, since i have no gd fukn idea how anyone would sit through this, let alone suggest it to another human being! Your statement is in error. Utah has a net immigration rate of 14.4 per 1,000. That immigration rate is slightly less than Texas and slightly more than Oklahoma. On balance, people are moving to Utah, not away. But yes, market prices should decide these things, not government fiat. However, growth in population will inevitably drive up the cost of water, and this will limit Utah's growth.

Being from small town Oklahoma I could relate to a lot of the movie. I hadn’t really seen any genuine small town life portrayals before from Hollywood. They still don’t really seem to get it. When the bookmobile would come in the summers it was the biggest thing ever. Or when they got calligraphy pens and the supermarket’s paper section.
