Hello, I am model wings and welcome to my channel! I make all sorts of models that are unique and interesting. I would love suggestions of what 1/72 scale models I should build, also recommend me techniques. I will try add subscribers names at the end of videos. In simple terms enjoy my channel:)

Nice haul mate, I watch Gary's channel too, he's a great guy, cheers.
Hi. When you build the resin kit please be careful. The dust is highly toxic. So make sure that you buy a suitable face mask with twin filters. The gold metal is etched brass. If you use it you will need a cigarette lighter or a candle. Pass the brass over it a it will make it plyable so it will be less springy ok. I like the 'storch'. Enjoy your models. Skorzany rescued Mussolini from the mountain top hotel. He led paratroopers on the missiom. Good luck.
Некоторые вещицы очень интересные...Лайк.
theres an interesting story about the real 29 squadron siskins, at this time British fighters had brightly coloured designs on the wings and fuselage, so, a 29 squadron officer told the ground crews to paint "29" but in roman numerals, when asked what that was, he replied "X,X, one X, (XXIX) however when he returned later he found all the aircraft had been painted with "XXX" literally X,X, one X (30!) as in your box artwork, and to this day 29 squadron aircraft carry three red Xs on them to commemorate this.
Now that Is something I didn’t know, I always liked the Siskin and the other day I think I drove past 29 squadron so that is why I chose it.
I attend TRICON (Pittsburgh, PA area IPMS club) this past Saturday. I think I did rather well. All kits were new with sealed bags: 1/72 Aircraft Airfix Swordfish Mk. I Airfix Buccaneer S.2C Hasegawa KA-3B Skywarrior Hasegawa MiG-25 FOXBAT Tamiya Shiden Type 11 MPC (really Airfix) U-2 1/35 Armor Italeri LVT-(A)1 Alligator Add several copies of Wings and Airpower magazines, the Detail & Scale on the F-8 Crusader, and an old sheet of Microscale decals for the F-101 and F-102. $98US (£77)
Not too shabby. I guess I’m not the only one getting bargains!
Have a great build. 🛩
I’ve got an unboxing video of another kit not in this video coming up
That's a good haul of some really interesting kits there. 👍 Who was that chap you mentioned near the end of the video? I didn't quite catch his name.
Gary’s stuff on KZread! He is a lovely chap.
@@ModelWingsForever Thanks for that. 👍 I look forward to maybe seeing the build videos of some of them.
You got some great stuff. I deliberately didn't bring too much money to Peterborough (only about £50) as I spent a small fortune at the Shuttleworth show. I regret it now as there was some great resin accessories I would have loved to have bought. Hopefully I'll see that trader again at another show later in the year. I like the look of the resin car you got, although I am a bit weary of resin kits.. The Academy Storch is a great kit, I have built a couple, the detail is nice and it goes together well. I'm yet to build the French version, but no doubt I will, one day. I have the Siskin kit but not yet built. I got it cheap at a show years ago, as all the parts were cut off from the sprues, perhaps that is a thing with the Siskin kits?? That's probably why I haven't built it yet. ;) The Walrus is another classic Matchbox kit, very nice.. The Vickers Vimy I know nothing about, but I like the box art. The parts look crisp in the box, with a bit of flash, as is only to be expected. It is a NOVO kit after all. The Spad looks like a limited run kit, I'm glad they supplied two lots of vac-form clear parts, I wish all companies that do vac-form would supply more than one set, out of courtesy.I must have missed that Japanese catapult biplane.. It's the sort of aircraft I would go for as well, if the price is right. No doubt you can find the missing instructions online somewhere, if you search. The Arado vs Gladiator is an interesting combo, another kit I missed as I looked round.. :) The Anson should be fun.. short run and resin, I bid you the best of luck! :) Great signed box as well.. I bought the Italeri 1/35 Panzerwerfer 42, a set of 1/35 German trailers, the old Airfix 1/72 Scottish Aviation Bulldog, which I have been after for quite a few years, a book about Warsaw Pact aircraft, some clamps, shrubs, a cutting mat and a brush. Oh, and some glue.. :) I'm sorry for such a long comment, I guess I got carried away.. :)
I must say that Ipswich have a show in June and it will probably be smaller but I might be there. I don’t know why but I ended up with a lot of biplanes and I definitely ended up with a lot of bargains. You seem to have good a few good things as well. I noticed that in your video I think i can see myself in the back 😂. Thanks rob for the comment and at some point I hope to see you at a model show. Happy modelling!
The Ipswich show is one of few shows that is held on a Saturday, so I have gone there the last couple of years. But now I don't have to work Sundays any more, so I can attend most shows that my club goes to. Ipswich is a small show, yes, but I like it and I always do well in their raffle.. I may donate a couple of kits to the raffle this year actually, I used to be a member of the Ipswich club but sadly my work hours and lack of transport have stopped me from going to their meetings the last few years. I still like to support them though, it's a great bunch of people. So yes, maybe we'll bump into each other there.. @@ModelWingsForever
I have that vimy kit, its actually moulded from a version tooled as alcock and brown's transatlantic flight vimy, and had the large "humpback" between the cockpit and mid gunner for the storage of extra fuel, that I believe wartime vimys did not have, but I'm not sure if this kit is the same as the commercial one you mentioned.
Самое больное место старых ,айрфиксов,...,стекла,!!!😢😮
Interesting kit, never seen it before, definitely has Me262 origins. One thing you probably could have talked about is at 12:20, step 8 shows that the nose needs a counterweight so that it sits level on it's tricycle landing gear. Maybe pointing out that the weight isn't supplied in the kit, just so potential builders don't skip this and end up with a tail heavy model. 👍
I have this kit, bought around fifteen years ago, at the IWM Duxford shop. I really must get round to building it.
Sorry everyone, I recorded this in 720p but the video is only in 360p for some reason. I apologise
This is an odd one
Thanks for the video, very interesting.
That's a nice review of a most unusual aircraft, it does look to be a development of the Messerschmitt 262 as you said about the wings. Thanks for the review, I found it very interesting.
Thank you for the lovely comment, tune in for the next unboxings in the Halloweek if you would like
Even Contrail plastic has become brittle with the passage of time. Still my preferred medium.
I like contrails kits
Love the instruction, "Apologies for this being such a right ***" 🤣 Should be a challenging build!
The sea plane looks well-done, you've done a fine job feathering in the demarcation line between colours along the fuselage side
Beautiful scheme I bet the wings and struts will be a bitch to get right
Crikey crude is the word
I really like these type of kits were you've got to put the work in
That’s why I build vacform
Yes, ins are inches, ie one twelfth of a foot, approximately 2.5cm. Loved the video. What incredibly crude moulding on that kit! I will really enjoy watching the build.
Thanks for the info, I kind of regret buying this kit 😬
This is an odd one...never seen or even heard of it ...untill now.👍
I had never heard of it until I watched a history video. Thanks for commenting!
@@ModelWingsForever was it a yt history video?....and thanks for posting
@@jaws666 yep by @IHYLS
@@ModelWingsForever i will check it out, thank you for the info.👍
A very hard work for an amazing result! Be brave! 😉
Thanks stephane I’m a huge fan! The kit build has been difficult but has went well enough good luck with all your future building
@@ModelWingsForever 👍, next on the bench : the Matchbox Siskin....😉. Thanks for your answer. See you soon.
@@stephanedavid3421 the Siskin is on of my favourites and I’ve been meaning to get one
К моделям этой фирмы нет вопросов...хорошие модели и комплектация!🎉
Стариный пластик в новой упаковке...😢😮
I was wrong about the test pilot I was thinking about the short seamew. But the rest is true
nice review MW, this kit is streets ahead of the old Airfix kit. Good luck with building whichever version you choose to make.
It is much better then the airfix kit but from my experience this kit isn’t that good, sorry to disappoint
I know it's late but happy birthday!
No worries! It’s always appreciated
Crazy design. You got the best out of a marginal kit. I like the paintwork. Bill
Thanks I took inspiration from one of the Box art colour schemes and added my own flair to it
Have a great build.
Interesting kit for an unusual aircraft, will you be doing a build video for the kit?
I might if people want it
That is a nice build of a very unusual aircraft, looks like a quick build, well dome.
I didn’t want the video to be this quick but the build was very quick in real time
This is weird🤣🤣
Sorry this took a long time to upload for some reason
Does everyone like the top down perspective? I got a new tripod and mic.
Happy Birthday! Nice haul of kits, the Emhar Whippet looks good when built up, especially considering how simple it is. Built it and their A7V years ago, love 'em.
I had the a7v and unfortunately never finished it. I got the whippet so I can build it and give it to my grandfather because we went to the tank museum and it was it favourite tank!
Nice haul,some intresting kits....and hace a great happy birthday.👍👍👍
The planes I like are weird and wonderful and unboxings are on their way!
Thanks for the interesting video, well done ,good model.
Interesting video, thank you
Unfortunately you are difficult to understand. You mumble a bit and speak to lowly...
I understand but I was very ill and I have no mic sorry
104 subs my friend, nice one
Great to hear you’re part of the club
You should use a wider angle lens so we can see what you are showing.
I am doing all my videos from a top down perspective now
The ailerons on the wings allways move opposite direction on each wing half, so you should reposition them on your model of Bristol Figher. Good luck with your future models.
I understand what you mean but it represents how ww1 aircrafts ailerons drooped when on the ground. Thanks for the info 😁
Another recommendation but looking forward to seeing more modelling videos. Keep up the good work.
You came up on my suggested videos!
I’m glad to see that my videos are being put out there more now
Saw you pop on my suggestions list, keep up the builds ❤
Thank you! I should be uploading a build soon enough
Id like a Take on some of the older Revell ww1 planes 👍🏻
Yes I will do anything ww1
Sub no.70
That’s special because you’re are in the first 100!
Just saw this random on my timeline, so wholesome! Keep up the good work
Thanks so much for the comments, reading comments is my favourite part of making videos
