The sound is very relaxing and the thunder is perfectly mellow. Also, I like the warm light from the lamp. It's always confused me as to why some establishments install cold lighting for interior living spaces. Makes them feel uninviting in a way. Thanks for posting!

I am longing for a beautiful thunderstorm. The perfect excuse to stay in solitude,read a book, and have a cup of hot tea, with a scone or biscuit...I have always preferred to be alone.
When you titled it as “a thunderstorm approaches,” I thought it would actually get closer & louder.
True, but I love that moment in nature where it’s approaching so I always want to hang onto it. That’s what my approaching storms and calm before the storm ambiences focus on 😊

I used to be scared of thunderstorms as a child. Mostly when they were severe. But it didn’t bother me when they were sooth and very calm like this. Now, I find it very relaxing. Sometimes they can help me rest, work, read or even sleep.

Just made my day. Wife and I work together in an office and we only have 30mins for a shared lunch break. Just cozied in the car, taking a quick nap in the parking garage, with these rain sounds going put us both at ease and feeling comfy. Electric car so I had the ac just right and this playing. This is perfect. The area where I live tends to get a lot of rain as a rule, but we hardly ever get any in July and August, and I'm really missing it. Definitely playing this one during work today.
