    Hello just subscribed! Nice video 👍 I’ve been an early adopter of the precise cyan bands when they came out. The bands are good stuff 👍 Honestly, I would like to see an elongation test done on said bands. It’s hard to gauge whether one band is faster than another if they aren’t cut to proper elongation. For example, I know Cyan can be cut about 10 to 15mm shorter than gongchi to achieve the same draw length. The consistency test does show good results though 👍 keep it up.

  • @WildandWiredUK

    Thanks very much. Another comment said exactly the same about draw length and elongation, so I'll re-do it with appropriate draw lengths. Cheers for watching!

    Bang on with the Evo v2, it immediately went in as my number one frame… until I got an Evo ergo and modified it with wasp clips and made it a 90mm frame. If/when Wayne brings an alloy version out of the ergo it will be complete perfection, as my modified version is just missing the weight of the V2. Great content and interesting conclusion.

    Great video very informative! 🎯It is my understanding that there are a few areas that band manufacturers focus performance on. Longevity, Speed, Elongation/Draw, and Consistency. It is hard to be a balanced band because you can not have it all. I understand that PRECISE bands are focused on tournament shooters therefore care more for consistency over speed. I too have found that other bands are just not as consistent as PRECISE.

    Why dont people use slingshots with rounded rubber bands, I have seen people use only flat rubber bands in all the videos, may I know why is it that way

  • @WildandWiredUK

    I think flat bands are better for accuracy and aiming but round tubes are much quicker to reload and are used for speed shooting more (the pouch doesn't flip over like it does with flat bands)

    For the B-Swan, I ordered a left-handed model and hold it with my left hand, chunky side up which seems to me to be the way it was meant. However the taper on the fork tip is such that the fork side closest to me is longer than the fork side closer to the target, which means that if I push my wrist forward, the taper will be digging into the band rather than aligning it straight. Is that how your fork is tapered also? Seems to me like they have it backwards and are mixed up about their left and right. Anyway I would suggest anyone to order the version opposite of your holding hand

  • @WildandWiredUK

    Thanks so much for this George. I'll go out and have a try now. My plan was to buy a proper official right hander from Snipersling to know for sure, but the truth is that I don't think it has any impact on performance at all. My bands aren't slipping or breaking anywhere near the forks, always at the pouch end. It just works!! BUT...I need to know and for 30 dollars, it's not an expensive way to find out...

  • @WildandWiredUK
    @WildandWiredUK26 күн бұрын

    p.s. Yes, my forks are higher shooter side, so the 'slanted tips' go the wrong way, but it doesn't seem to have any affect on performance that I can see...

  • @georgexhiu
    @georgexhiu26 күн бұрын

    @@WildandWiredUK Yeah it's weird I'm not even sure what the intention is with the slope. Do they want a forward wrist to dig in the band and stretch it more for speed even though the fork edge then becomes misaligned with the line of sight or do they want a forward pushed wrist to bring the fork edge correctly aligned with the line of sight? I analyzed Ming's youtube video from snipersling in slow-,mo and at first when he is explaining the slope and fooling around with the frame, he pushes his wrist forward with the LONGER taper side facing the target but at the end of the video when he opens his hand to show the frame, it shows that he was shooting chunky side up with the SHORTER fork side facing the target. Would be nice if they clarified this point.
