did you disconnect the battery first before you removed the MAF sensor??
Hi there, I wouldn't normally, however it's never a bad idea if you are in doubt, its somewhat a personal preference.
Good afternoon, I recently installed cruise control on my 2021 Isuzu D-Max 1.9L standard model and I need a device that can program or activate it. I've tried using an OBD2 ELM327 WiFi and ELM327 HS LS USB for scanning, but they can't seem to recognize my Isuzu D-Max. Now I'm considering purchasing a dedicated device or using the TOAD program or should I buy IDSS . Could you please recommend the best option? Looking forward to your reply. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Qasem Alhejji
Hi Ross, this is a long one. NRMA dianostic on my Astra Wagon AH 2007 1.8 - cylinder 1 misfire, all spark plugs changed today by mechanic. He didn't replace the coil, however driving home, when I accelarate it jerks shifting into 2nd, so logically next step is to replace the coil. This video is helpful as I can do it myself to save some money. I think you live in Sydney, can you recommend a autoparts where I can purchase the coil pack, same day delivery?
Straightforward video & to the point Thanks
Replace blinker
HI there, unfortunately I no longer have the car to show that. I did make one on the headlights
Hey! Great video. Very informative. Is it possible to get a link or part number for the accessory fuse box? This would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Cat's have the BEST idle sound. ICONIC

Does this hold true for older RAV4s and American sold?
Good question, to my knowledge yes, the locations are international. However, for reference this was a Japanese made model, for the Australian market.
Very useful and clear

hi thanks for this there is no lock symbol on my freelander passager side , on no doors, i will try praising it off anycase unless that bad idea? at moment i just leave it unlocked
so i tried it anyway gently prising off the cover on the passanger side, band yes sure enough the lock is there and it worked for me
@@likegrace1144 Perfect that's good news, sounds like someone has changed the cover before for one that doesn't have the symbol on it.
Mine didn’t have a string attached😩
had it been broken off? you might be able to take the plastics off and find it if you still need to open the cap.
and how about back doors ?
Same process, you get all 4 doors in the kit: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DETvc1z

Great video. I have travelled approximately 150,000kms. Just not sure what grade engine oil to use. Most catalogues have 5w30 ,some have 0w20.. any advice would be much appreciated. Concerned that 0w20 may be too thin for the KMs . Mines a 2017/2018 model. Cheers. Would u base oil grade on kms ?
Thank you! My Son recently flew out from Oregon to CO for a week due to a death in the family, since I have another car I can drive I gave him my Toyota Corolla for the week which of course is the car I prefer to drive. A few nights after he had left I realized he had dimmed the dash light as low as possible which was driving me crazy, I couldn't find anything in the manual of the car so of course my next option was KZread and was fortunate to find your video explaining exactly how to adjust them. I'm one happy Mom again 😂 Great job making this video!
Hey Barb, sorry to hear about the family death. I am very please you was able to use my video to help you. I have made a few videos on the Corolla now :) Thanks for watching and your comment. Ross

If assist someone to jump start their car, can I use the front or need to be using the back?
Toyota says NOT to use the RAV4 Hybrid to jump other cars
Many Thanks.
No worries at all thanks for watching and your comment.
Once you turn it off, will it stay off? Or do you have to turn it off every time you drive
Many thanks Ross, did the job yet!
Can you connect to mirror link
Unfortunately not with the standard system. There are plug-in units that you can buy to give you that functionality.

Very nice thank you! I have a 2015 and I call her Lil' Red! Any idea how to remove the rear seats headrests?
Where is the Warp Core?
it's pretty close to the flux capacitor, find that and your warp core will be to the right.

Would I need to disconnect the battery first before disconnecing the wires?
It is a personal choice, the cables going onto the coil are low voltage it is the coil that boosts the voltage, however if it gives you comfort you can of course remove the battery, it is never a bad idea if in doubt.
@@RossPerryProductions Ok, thank you. Also, do you happen to know what size tool I need to remove the spark plug? Would a 16mm (5/8") & 21mm (13/16") be sufficient?
@@SyloPlaysYT I cannot remember from memory, and I no longer have access to the car, but I believe it would be 16mm
@@RossPerryProductions Okay, thank you!

Hiya, not sure if you will still see comments at this video but I was wondering if you can help me. I changed the front discs and pads for Champion pads and discs. Everything went well, but when my brakes warm up (for instance downhill) they tend to start giving a squealing noise. I changed my brakes about 1500km's ago and the noise is not gone yet... I did realise that when we put the guide/slider pins in, the caliper was not fully tight, eventhough we torqued the pins to spec. We could move it a little bit. Putting the retainer spring made it all tight and fit properly. Would this maybe be the issue? Also I see you greased the smooth part of the pins, we did not do that. Hope you can help!
Hi there Dan, did the pads you installed have the anti-squeal rubber behind them or were they bare metal? Most pads now come with a thin rubber that stops the noise, alternatively there is a metal plate that clips on the back, I always use a small bit of copper grease as well just on the back of the pad or face of the piston. I hope that helps. Ross
Love your grill, our RSA versions come with a chrome which don't like much .. Where's the power steering reservoir though ? Thank you.
Hi there, electronic power steering on these, and I have seen some aftermarket grills that look goof but haven't tried them yet, like this one : s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DFTZIbV
