I wrote an article back in 2018 which I published on linked in… it was about moving from should to what is and can be. I talked about fragmented change… since then… I’ve evolved the concept (which wasn’t mine to begin with, but I’d been doing it a lot)… fragmented and wholistic… lots of concepts. I like fractionated as well, it extends between and within systems. I’m a huge fan of integrity… I try. I also worked in health care and understandings of silo easing (which I have been doing since college)… and community and regional work which has evolved more into health and climate eco systems amongst greater complexities and relates of connections and discipline and spheres. North Carolina and this institution and along with many many other academic centers are not industry nor are there all healthcare… yet, they are integral parts of fractionated change and homeostatic realities. We aren’t perfect… but we are trying.
Oh, boy, the lady still believes that there is a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Her physical intuition is completely wrong. Statements like "before or after the singularity exists" are about as unphysical as it comes. There is no singularity for an outside observer, EVER.

DEI, when done properly promotes those hard conversations. If you don't have a diverse population in attendance bc they're overlooked during admissions due to unconscious racial bias in the system and those making admission decisions, how are UNC students going to have those conversations? Please be honest and say you want UNC to be full of White males, with a few white women to be selected as traditional wives. Be honest about it. Look at the board, who's represented in that room? Clearly UNC needs DEI. Also it's crazy you all are so afraid of your own student population. Your move DEI funds towards security, not toward providing scholarship for ALL potential students. Shame on you all
