    We need a Chord streamer! Preferably in a Choral case, or even TT. Even if you just license a blue sound platform or something? I want an all chord digital system.

    Excellent and very timely! I installed a Hugo TT2/Mscaler/TToby into my system recently and have been contemplating the unthinkable of having to A-D my turntable as no analogue inputs on the Hugo. Suzi Pre looks like the solution and I get to play with more glowing balls - heaven :) Do we know approximate pricing yet? If I can make one suggestion - assume these are prototypes or mock-ups - the white font on the front is a bit large IMO, perhaps make that a little more subtle.

    There are many people have that problem, this happens especially when opening media with different audio profiles, and chord would just crash and blast out a super loud thundering noise that reality really hurt my ears There was a gentleman and his friend had tested out and says that even CPU affected whether that happens or not..

  • @greenbow7888
    @greenbow78882 ай бұрын

    @@jmssun It sounds like hardware syncing. However Chord DACs are supposed to have a built in delay before sending sound, to allow time for hardware sync. On your media player for music, see if there is a setting to add half-second of silence, before playing music. I use JRiver, and there is a setting on that player for adding hardware sync time. In JRiver it's, Player > Playback Options > Settings > Play Silence at Startup for Hardware Synchronisation. If you switch from one media format to another, there may be a moment where the DAC sees no audio input. (Or if you change from e.g. 44.1KHz to 192KHz.) Then when it gets e.g. a 44.1KHz signal, there will be a click or pop that can be loud. That's why Chord, and media players add time for hardware sync before sending sound, to top sync noise. Or clicks and pops. Having said that, your description of the Chord crashing - that sounds worrying. You should email Chord. Alternately, you could ask in the Head-Fi forum, on the main thread about your DAC.

    I don’t know.. I use foobar2K for music, but media player for movies and firfox for twitter and KZread.. audio source is complex on PC… just hope that there is a solution to that, I really do love the sound, but it is quite scary to risk hurting my ear once every week or two just for the possibility of “might not happen”

    The Suzi is both a preamplifier and phono stage, so it can be used as a headphone amp however it has no function to be connected to a DAC as it is an analogue product

    the effect is not dramatically different with mojo1. It's 2022!! Even apple changed their charging ports to usb-c. What a device.. A sad looking usb-c port with just info transfer was all you did. I'm a heavy chord lover, but I can say mojo2 is good if we know what chord is. usb-c abscent was a very fool decision. Although it's price worthing, chord buyers concentrate on the difference with the past(where are they?). I hope you give polite functions for consumers who choose their first device.

    When I connect my Mojo2 to my Windows 11 PC with Roon, the settings seem to change automatically. I can put it in one mode and then watch the colors of the buttons change when the song changes. Have I put it into an automatic mode? Is mine broken? It sounds fine. Also, what to users that may be color blind do? I personally don't see green that well and it's hard to tell what mode my Mojo2 is in.

Being a Roon Fan Boy and doing a good bit of traveling I have what I need to enjoy my music the way I love to here it without pushing my opinions on anyone else because Audio as much as anything else is just that. I wrote a very positive review on Moon Audio website but it was not published. I guess it was because I mentioned I use 64 Audio U12ts in my setup and they don't sale them.
