  Continue with the audio drama will I’m so excited sun is back I wanna fight monsters with yuna Aons and meet waka and lulu child play blitz ball fight new monsters and evil summoners and hard bosses you guys might think the games to hard but I love a tough change I was 15 up all night playing this game it took me years to beat the game I love it the audio drama is perfect picked up where we left of a lost girl trying to find her dad I hope yuna and tidus stay together i can’t wait I don’t no journey with braska and jet but I do hope to see them in the game

  My sort of take away with this character is... You got Bevel at war with Spira and a man (named Yu Yevon) from Spira sees these horrifying war machines and is traumatized by the violence of war. He seeks power within his faith (spirituality vs science theme) and in doing so became a machine (albeit a spiritually fueled machine but a machine none the less) creating a cycle of war and suffering (the literal thing Yu wanted to stop in the first place). He's the embodiment of ""The road to hell is paved with good intentions".

  Are you sure the Jecht Memorial Cup is every year? I thought it was only once per 10 years? Either way, Jecht is an amazing character. I'd definitely buy a prequel where you play as him.

  The main unanswered question about Sin is, each time he comes back from the dead, does he look the same, or his appearance different in each iteration? If he's absorbing the final aeons then it would make sense if his appearance changed, but I've never found confirmation of this.

  @@dervakommtvonhinten517 that’s incorrect. The Dark Aeon summoners work for Yevon the religion - not Yu Yevon the summoner. They serve Bevelle. Penances’ origin was never established, whether it’s a fiend, Aeon or machina. Popular theory is it being a machina super weapon created by Bevelle during the machina war, but ultimately the boss was an afterthought for the international releases and will never have a meaningful origin.

  you can use phoenix downs on the undead evrae in bevelle he's undead so healing works as damage on him, with this method you can end that fight in 2 turns, (rikku, tidus, over)

  I'm guessing the Occuria are responsible for the relative loss of magic by the time of Tactics and the near-complete loss by the time of Vagrant Story. They have a chunk of nethicite the size of a house in their basement. If it could destroy all of Ivalice, it can presumably drain the magic from all of Ivalice too.

  Some thoughts on the Occuria. One interesting thing about the Occuria is they seem content with achieving their goals towards the prosperity of Ivalice via proxies recruited from the humans and granting access to deifacted nethicite as a seal of their approval. I wonder if the statues in the auditorium Ashe found herself were their previous physical form and they found a way of transcending to become these mist godlike beings to the other less advanced races in Ivalice. The figures look similar to the Garif so I often wondered if they could have been a distant cousin to the Garif people. It is interesting that when Venat departs its former position among the Occuria, It supports Dr Cid as a friend and an ally to the Archadian empire coaching Cid's brilliance by revealing the true potential of deifacted nethicite with the destruction of Nabudis. The Archadians even learn to manufacture their own very limited nethicite uncontested by the Occuria. Imagine what they could have achieved in time if they were left uninterrupted with the continued guidance from Venat? Also note that Venat did not exert its own desire to rule the humans but instead chose to support them and let them pursue their own path in defiance to the Occuria's intended path for them. The other Occuria chose to remain anonymous in their hidden abode knowing the damage the heretic was causing to their agenda and the victims of the Archadian empires goal for absolute power in their attempted subjugation of Ivalice. The Rozarrian empire would have learnt Archades had come across some form of super weapon (they could not match) with the fall of Nabudis but the Occuria were counting on an opportunity in Ashelia B'Nargin (descendant of their prior appointed Dynast King) with the tragedy that befell her family and people yet she and the party had to follow clues Venat left through Cid and the empire to get Ashe to her eventual face-to-face with the Occuria. The Occuria go as far as granting her a new treaty blade to cut her own shards out from the Sun Cryst and intended to use her to destroy both Venat (an undying like them) and Archadia in the hopes of restoring their unseen influence over Ivalice. This new dynast queen was intended to be their tool of destruction but it's odd how the Occuria do not intend to get their own hands (appendages?) dirty in the process. If they wanted they could have engaged with Venat themselves but they instead chose to use Ashe as their executioner. Reddas seizing the opportunity to destroy the Sun Cryst (with Ashe and Vaan in agreement) after witnessing first hand the true destructive power of deifacted nethicite was perhaps another yet unintended opposition against the Occuria's grand scheme but something I could see Venat approving. Interesting again how the party voiced their objections against the Occuria's request on Ashe, whilst still in what appeared to be Occurian territory and suffering no consequences. With their hold on their human champion in peril the Occuria chose to make one final attempt to persuade her with the false spirit of Prince Rasler, but this time Ashe fully understands their machinations behind the facade and makes her rejection of their will final. Even Judge Gabranth (likely secretly longing for retribution against the empire for the fall of his and Basch's former homeland, the Republic of Landis) fails to push Ashe back on the path of retribution. He soon finds himself expelled from his judicial duties when a concealed Doctor Cid makes his presence known after already seeing to the preparations of Lord Vayne's and the empires air superiority with the Bahamut in preparation of the battle ahead. The Bahamut being fuelled by the very mist expelled from the Occuria's Sun Cryst. The Occuria somewhat achieved part of their goal with the fall of Cid, Vayne and Venat but the humans of Ivalice would probably work together for a better future without need of Occurian intervention. In a way maybe that could still be considered a win for the Occuria too. It is a pity Revenant Wings never made it to Playstation as it seemed the Aegyl race were also in opposition of the Occuria only to find their home banished from the rest of the Ivalice races millennia ago. This is similar to the lore revealed on most of the Espers and mighty beasts the party encounters in Ivalice that may have been subservient to the Occuria at one point and then came to rebel against them and eventually finding themselves imprisoned or sealed away as a penalty for their defiance. So the Occuria are capable of applying a firm hand to restore control but it seemed they stopping doing this in favour of working through human proxies even after Venat's defection. Thanks for the video and opportunity to add some thoughts.

  i just finished playing ffx for the first time, i didn’t have as much trouble with yunalesca and flux as much as i had with jecht at the end of the game, the only way i could beat him was spamming double cast ultima with yuna to destroy the pillars that heal him, and if you die you have to do the most annoying minigame of all time and watch the super long cutscene

  finally someone put yunalesca as a tough battle for me I almost give up beating the game over the many times I lost to her worse of all you have watch through the entire cutscenes of her speech with the group being you can't skip it in the remake which sucks but surprising I didnt't have issue with flux like most people

  It seems like…the Occuria all have good intentions but like…they all seem to operate on extremes. The “good” Occuria wanted to destroy Archadia…to stop the war, sure but like…genocide shouldn’t be the answer to that problem, obviously. Venat was willing to potentially destroy the world if it meant undermining the rule of their former colleagues and letting man figure things out on its own. I’m sure these deities could justify eradicating mankind entirely if they thought it meant fixing the world’s problems…to themselves anyways. They see every problem as a nail…and themselves as the hammer. Hell, elementals - specifically entites - literally exist as a response from the gods to mankind’s shenanigans.

  What I do is have Kimahri use Stone Breath (learned from the Basilisks on the Djose Highroad) to instantly kill the two Guado Guardians before they can cast anything on the Wendigo. Then I have Wakka use his Sleep Attack to keep the Wendigo in check. I'll also use Auron's Threaten ability once sleep starts to wear off. From there, bring in Lulu and just start bombing away with your highest level Fire spells. Once Wendigo is down to below 2000 HP, I have Yuna summon in Ifrit to deliver the killshot with his overdrive for an overkill finish.

  My 10 year old self would charge up the overdrives of every character and aeons if i didnt beat a boss the first or second time. Just trying to nuke the opponent with all the damage I can do on the first turn

  I played when FF10 as one of my first RPGs a few years after the game first came out and I was hard filtered by Seymour Flux. I ended up putting the game down for over 10 years until I played FF10 remaster on the PS4. Was so satisfying to finally beat him

  The most annoying thing about both Flux and Yunalesca is having to go through the cutscenes again, I'm sure you can trigger a whole room of 30 something year old gamers by yelling "YOUR HOPES END HERE"

  For me Jecht at the end is by far the most difficult battle in my playthrough ☠️ took me awhile to figure out that u can use tidus interaction with jecht 2 times to slow him down and whenever u want. I wasted them always on the first 2 rounds haha Still banger game

  Yea jecht did actually pose a bit of a challenge, but I think by the time I got to him I went through so much with the storyline and the bosses that I was locked in to finish the game haha

  I remember being 11 and going to my friends house and watching him try Seymour and anima. I was hooked. Went home and begged my parents for the game. Eventually got to him and killed him hsing aeons(who knew these things were so good). Called him and he begged me to come over and kill him so he could progress the game. Still one of my best gaming memories and Give replayed FFX probably 15x since then

  @@ncomz312 monster arena. Most of that time was spent in luck spheres, hp spheres (of course) and gil farming.
