Hidden Spring Farm is a Homestead in the making. It's also a Farm Stay & Experience startup. Created by Chad & Remy Smith in 2020, Hidden Spring Farm is a super private and tranquil 90 acres and perfect to start an operational farm stay vacation rental. With a little tlc, hard work & creativity, we're hoping to turn this farm into a unique and amazing farm stay experience, while allowing us to share this property's beautiful qualities with others. It's going to take a lot of work on our part to create an awaiting adventure for people to enjoy on the farm and boy do we have some big plans for this place. Chuck, when my beloved cat died, we were just devastated. A day later we discovered that 3 of his kittens were next door. We took one and boy did it help us. Please think about getting a new baby sister for Olive. It will give you something to focus on and will help Olive as well.

She will always be around Chuck. When my cat got run over 2 years ago one of his whiskers appeared on a doormat out of nowhere the next day.

Sorry for your loss, and glad to see a farmer, who says more than “thats just life on the farm”…when something like this happens. Thank you for loving your animals and not being afraid to show your emotions and being vulnerable. Is never easy to lose a beloved pet/family mamber, even if they have lived a long life. Losing her way too soon makes it worse. Our dogs do for our lives like so many people cant do..they love is unconditionally and serve us without question. Im sure your other sheep dog will need some extra cuddles because they feel loss too and will be missing Molly. Again, sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry about Molly. This breaks my heart. I had a sheep dog when I was a little kid. His name was Chief. He was my best friend. Molly was a doll. I am hugging you and your wife with my prayers.
Love the video. We have two working cats. We don't own a farm, but we have a piece of land of 850 square meters on the water side close to the forest. Before we had the cats it was full of mice, moles, rats, mole rats and we even had a nest of pine martens in the shack. In winter most of the rodents would move into the house which was a nightmare especially in the cellar. After some reading and realising cats were domesticated as pest control, we decided to get some cats. Two brothers. We gave the cats a home base in the cellar of the house. It's where their seats are, and their toys. We also gave them access to the shack so they can get in by themselves. I trained them to do a morning walk each morning visiting the cellar of the shack (did it with them for weeks, now they do it without me). I taught them to come home when I whistle. Just start whistling when you give the food and eventually change the tune to something loud and they will come when you do so. I never was a cat person, I used to love dogs. But I'm blown away by how awesome these creatures are. The only rodents I see these days are ones that have been caught. No moles in the garden anymore (just rarely) and the pine martens decided to raise their children somewhere else where they don't get morning visits from cats. Fantastic animals.

We are crying with you Chad we are here for you and Molly is still watching you from heaven and with you in your heart I know how you feel when my aunt died because of a sickness and that’s how me and my mom wanted to die just like my aunt died. We were both devastated like you how you are feeling right now. I’m very sorry for your loss of Molly poor Molly she deserved to live 15 years not 4 years. She was an amazing dog if I died exactly how Molly died I wouldn’t see this because I almost got runned over once and I was shocked how I didn’t know that a car was coming too.
