There's a 60v "junior" dirt bike available on the UK market. It appears identical to this and I'm convinced it's the same. The bike retails for about £1300 and is fully running. Supplied with a 20ah battery. A simple controller upgrade would put it up to 5kw.

Great video detailing some of the basics and general info on starting off and building from the ground up. As someone who recently took all these steps on officiating my mobile mechanic business, you’re spot on with everything. One thing I’d like to touch on is for business owners to make all forms of payment possible for their customers. Not everyone carries cash anymore and those strapped for money will often opt for credit cards to pay you. Square makes accepting CC payments easier, aside from their processing fees. Otherwise all the other payment apps should suffice. Lastly, having a way to create invoices or using a receipt transfer booklet to hand out receipts makes the business appear that much more professional.

  • @aMotoheadsGarage

I don't understand the mid drive, I mean yes it makes it easier to climb and its balanced better than a hub motor, that's the main draw, but you're not going to go any faster than you would on a normal / acoustic mountain bike and you're adding weight. And if the place you're riding downhill has a lift you're not worried about climbing up the trail anyways. I'd rather just ride my hardtail.

I use the 02 on a mountain bike and a cargo bike. With 48v/20 ah I get 55 miles. My cargo bike uses 2 x 48v/20ah and has a 180 watt solar panel. (one batt in use the other charging). On sunny days and 13 mph I have infinite range (no headwind and flat terrain). I only have 3 things that are not so great about the Bafang set. 1. The level selector "dies" when it gets wet. So have some extra with when you go on longer trips. And/or protect it somehow ( I put a plastic bag over it). 2. Have a spare chain with you. And buy the strongest money can buy. 3. I live in a humit climate. So the "paint" starts to peal of at some point . And the motor will start to corrode .. So I repaintet it after one year.

I have a smart phone that I run that way and it's lasted forever with not much sign of battery degradation. Also, they don't like extreme temperatures, that shortens their life, or heat. Avoid freezing them, there's a little moisture inside them. I keep my quadcopter liions in the lettuce crisper drawer at 45F and 50% charge. They seem to never lose a charge over months and months.
