Thanks, I’m working on it! It’s hard to stay calm when they’re barking all around you though. I’m getting a lot of practice on the trail!! The shepherds help me a lot.

Yikes. Glad you're ok. Things like that happening in the dark of night would, honestly, be a bit terrifying. When you see the damage in the light -- that's so scary to see how close you were. Guess that's why some are called widow makers. Be safe.

Pay attention to the bears! Better make constant noise not to see them in the first place. Or scare them away when you see them(Usea a whistle) A young girl (19yo) was killed a couple of days ago while hiking with her boyfriend, in Prahova county.

I hiked the entire AT and PCT as well as the Camino. Give yourself more time. 16 a day everyday with no zeros is not a good idea...
