did they have a hot tub outside near the pool? did the resort ever feel cramped or like the sun was covered by surrounding buildings? what was your biggest drawback for the hotel and biggest plus to the hotel? taking my fiance here in june, but im hesitant about it since the hotel seems very clustered together

I think this is my favorite resort! Our first stay here I asked did they just open. There wasn’t one mark on the wall, if there were, they painted over it by the next day. That was in 2016 and it still looks the same, visiting again this July.

They do at dinner I believe! The Lobster house was our favorite for lunch! Really fresh delicious food 😋 you can tip either one you prefer! We tipped in pesos for most of the trip!

Hey there 🤚 we found them to be very similar! I would go back to either resort in a heartbeat. I found some differences in some of the restaurants; we thought a couple of restaurants were better at El Carmen. We also thought the live entertainment at night was better at El Carmen. The architecture between the two resorts are different but both very beautiful! I still don’t have a favorite between the two since they were so similar and equally wonderful 🙌
