Is this a sick math joke? Los Angeles County has a population of over 10 million people and these tree hugging public dis servants are making a big deal about 26 chargers. The electric car idea is a long ways from going mainstream.

Congratulations on winning the E. F. Scattergood System Achievement Award from the American Public Power Association. The Marengo Charging Plaza and the Power Up Pasadena campaign are great steps forward for transportation electrification and exemplify the utility’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

I live in NoHo and had to drive up here because glendale and burbank were closed for Tesla SC due to protests. I did not know this project was a fairly new ish setup. Makes sense of all the placards thanking you for powering up. :) Question - just curious - can one get a veefil RFID card? do these charge stations cost at this location? I did not look at them when I was at the Tesla station.

This is great. Can you clarify the 20 grace period for parking? Is that 20 minutes I can charge and then leave? Also are the lines better for getting out? I waited 20 minutes to get out several times, line of cars 20 deep.

To support customers during COVID-19, the Marengo Parking Garage (including the rooftop Marengo Charging Plaza) is offering a 20 minute grace period. This means that the first 20 minutes of parking are free, and do not require validation or payment upon exit. After 20 minutes of parking, drivers can either receive validation from a Paseo business - or pay upon exiting the facility. As for exiting, a friendly reminder to drivers that the Marengo Parking Garage does have two exits, one onto Marengo Ave and one onto Arroyo Pkwy. We hope this answers your questions!

10/10 to Pasadena Water Power for providing this forward looking service. As an EV driver living half way around the world, it heartens me to see examples such as this being set. I hope they will become commonplace everywhere else in the not too distant future!

It is important to know your water pressure, because depending on you water pressure, you may not be able to run the line 300'.
