  Look up the other videos on creeper farms that talk about carpet placement in the farm and how placing carpets a certain distance away from eachother stops spiders from spawning

  Just built the farm and nothings spawning. Saw a few comments about it spawning spiders and creepers however mine isn’t spawning anything. I’ve built it above an ocean and my AFK spot is about 40 blocks away so my farm is in the spawning radius. Any clue how to fix this or why it’s happening?

  Okay just did some math for you all. I’m currently building the farm with the max layers (10) however it uses SO MUCH GODDAMN WOOD. So I decided to calculate how much logs it uses. (My math is most likely to be wrong so don’t come at me) If you want to do the minimum amount of layers (3) you need aprox: 528 logs or 8 stacks and 16 logs If you wanna make the max amount of layers (10) you need approx: 2,075 logs or 32 stacks and 27 logs Whatever your other building block may be (I used stone bricks like in the video) then per layer you need around 361 blocks or 5 stacks 41. That’s enough math for me today, my brain doesn’t have the capacity for this lol

(I have shit tons of cats and they might as well have a nice job) Edit: I’ve been building this goddamn farm for the past 6 hours I think I’m going crazy. I still got 5 layers to go. Also this uses a shit ton of resources and wood if you’re going for 10 layers 😭

  Edit: instead of making the huge roof, just build one block out from the first platform and make walls all around so inside is dark, all mobs spawn but you get some creepers

  if u want this to work faster i suggest building from the top layer about 100 blocks in the air and just afk farming, they start spawning like crazy that way

  @@alyx986 u probably did something wrong or in a weird different version of minecraft idk, but make sure all buttons are facing the same direction, same with the trapdoors they need to face the same direction, make sure you made the blocks wide enough and far enough away from eachother, make sure the roof is wide enough exactly like the video to ensure that it’s dark, place torches around the the surrounding area, but not inside the farm, so they don’t spawn outside of it, put it on the very top roof too cause they like to spawn up there as well. make sure EVERYTHING is right and then what i did was go on the roof and built 100 blocks in the sky and made an afk platform, you might get a lot of spiders or random zombies and skeletons here and there but it should produce quite a few creepers, i got 10 stacks in about an hour (edit: i also wanna add i turned my simulation distance to like 5 im not sure if that helped any but you can try that too)

  i did it in ps5 1.20.60 and DON’T WORK, and u passed the wrong materials 😭😭😭😭, in 20 minutes it just spawned 2 zombies, 😭😭😭😭😭

  i just built it and made modifications of my own: -when building the second layer build it line by line to while placing the trap doors it's easier this way. -place torches to prevent mobs while building it -add trap doors on the roof of the platform same like between layers to have only creepers spawning. -instead of building the giant hideous and boring to build roof, u can just extend the initial roof by a block and cover the whole thing + add a strip around the stair blocks from outside (light gets through somehow with just the stair block) - light up the area around the farm to have mobs spawning only in farm this is tested on bedrock edition - hard mode I got 32 gun powder in 15min

  for some reason it works but it does skellys and zombies and witches i had creepers at first but it just stopped spawning creepers im not sure what is wrong i checked back thru it everything is how its suppose to be

  I currently building it and I’m on the last layer, the giant layer. So far, I haven’t seen any creepers spawn. Is this concerning? I think it might be because of the trapdoors that are vertical aren’t facing the same side on all the layers, am I correct? Issue aside, this video is actually very helpful and is a good step-by-step guide. Hope you are doing well man 😀
