Check out Potion Craft. It's about an alchemist, not a wizard, but the potionmaking mechanic is the most wizardy-feeling magic system I ever saw. Even Noita doesn't make you feel like a nerdy medieval proto-scientist who sorta knows what he's doing but can't guarantee results because of how skill-dependent every part of the process is.

Japan is a normal country full of normal people, Its nice because its ethnically and culturally homogenous and so people tend to get along more and its more safe and peaceful. But lots of westerners think its going to be anime or some kind of futuristic world. Its not its just normal. I definitely feel like there's more litter and graffiti than there was when I first came over in the 2000's. Certain areas have become quite disgusting especially at night and some of the new ethnic enclaves are starting to erode the culture and make the areas dangers, Kawaguchi Kurds, And the Nigerians in Tokyo for instance. Just be on your guard and if you're a woman don't let your drink out of your sight.

I love and hate Noita. It's so good but I wish there was an option that allowed you to respawn. Granted maybe disabling achievements, or something, but I just wish there was a way to get a second chance outside of the ONE SINGULAR perk. And even then saving grace just sets you to 1 hp. If there was a way to cold respawn, teleport back to the mines, even if it meant losing your perks or gold etc, I'd still take it over losing world progression in runs.

The best games are made by devs who are making the games they want to play; games that they themselves have interest in playing and enjoying. The industrialization of gaming as a whole is what causes all of these issues. Games are being made primarily for profit, doing what shareholders and executives want, leaving fun to be an afterthought and mostly relying on nostalgia (ex. cod) This is why indie games are usually so much better, the devs aren't making the game because they have to, but because they want to, so they willingly putting their heart and soul in the game, rather than the game draining their spirit. It's rather similar to the anime industry (except it's even harder to make an indie animation outside of youtube). Companies take advantage of young people who are excited to work on games/animations and because those new to the industry are so happy to simply be working on a project, doing what they love, they don't even notice or care that the company has made them do 8 hours of overtime every day for the past month. The industry as a whole is just very predatory towards it's workers and it's players.

personally i find the coilheads and the jesters to be the scariest. its mainly the way too fast footsteps that leave you with just enough time to anticipate what is coming, but hardly enough to react and definitely not enough to run away

My favorite form of gaming disrespect is when you can have your character say certain voice lines. Mainly TF2 because in TF2, any line you say during your opponent’s killcam of you, any voice line your player character says will be projected to their game, forcing them to hear it. My personal favorite to say is the “Nice Shot” line because of the subtext of the compliment is used to mock your opponent for missing even though they just died to a random crit before they even knew you existed.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one that hated Wizard of Legend 2. After coming from Hades 2 the game felt so bad. No story. No character I cared about. Abilities that felt bad. I’d say there is potential but everything needs to change

I didn't get to play the demo (they just closed down and people can't download it anymore, so I missed my chance), so I was only basing things through the trailer... So my only thought was "oh, it looks uglier... But I bet they make up for it with a lot of new spells and content!" So I am just perplexed with your review... How could they have fumbled so hard?
