  Hi Marek, If Elon & Tesla don’t earn their board and lodging by eating the snails in my veg filter she can have these two. I haven’t seen them since I put them in so either hiding or escaped! 🤓

  Thanks for watching. Two for £54.95 over here. I think Musk turtles are native to parts of Canada. Put them in the veg filter and haven’t seen them since 🤓

  The range isn't adjustable so have had to turn of the audible, but the light and laser show is impressive and appears to be doing itsjob

  Thanks for watching and your comment most appreciated, I have a kohaku, sanke or showa(I can’t tell the difference) and an asagi all about 65cm ish to collect but setting up a quarantine tank for them

  Hi Marek, thanks for the comment, I have another 3 collect, 65cm ish kohaku, sanke and asagi but going to be a bit more sensible and set up a quarantine tank with them ones, possibly a bit late but hey ho 🤓

  Yes & no, the technology is good it barks it squawks flashes a high intensity LED and scatters a green laser. The only thing you can’t do is adjust the range comes with, I think, a range of 12 metres which you can’t adjust. Hence anything in the garden sets it off barking and squawking and I have had to turn the audible alarm off. The best part of £200 and you can’t adjust the range

  i know what you mean the jury's out with me but a bit late for that i guess. The olive coloured one, chagoi or ghost not sure, is massive. I will take a better video have had UV's off for a couple of days. Also pond is becoming a tad crowded

  Hi, Marek, the triffid in the 1st shot i bought from Jim's last year at about a foot tall, this year 6 foot. The Acer a bargain at £46 from a nursery in Kensworth by the animal feed place. My poor terracotta warrior he's the 2nd one I have decapitated and will need to go in to the pond to reclaim them, lucky me!

  Thanks for watching, there’s a few watts of LED lighting in the garden . They used be on from dusk until 23.00 but the cost of electrickery has changed that😢

  Hi Marek, I trust you are well, not as yet was heading over today but have been dragged kicking and screaming shopping in MK. Re the veg tower thingy bob I’m not a lover of trickle towers or anything that goes on display I like it hidden away. Was also hoping to get over to Perfect Aquatics as am after a Goshiki. Then that’s it for this year unless there’s a grow and show that interests me. Last years Byer G&S Showa has gone AWOL. 👍🤓

  Hi, Marek remind me not to take any notice of you in future. I went down to Jim’s I didn’t buy a Goshiki but a previously loved Nexus 320+ instead. Hopefully money well spent as a major overhaul to the filter system is hopefully on the cards. Replacing the mid level Nitritech’s with the 320+ and the gravity fed multi bay with two easy pods. Fingers crossed if I ever finish the work on my boat.

  I am always amused by these catastrophy videos. If I were to be stressed over Ice on the pond, I would not have a pond. But just as Stubbs say. Turn off the filter system and empty it when water temperature is below 5c. Nitrification bacteria is not active, nor needed then. Water movement mix cold surface water with soil heated bottom water and stress the fish. There are also a risk of freeze damage to the equipment. Start filter again when risk of frost is over and temperature start to rise.

  My apologies for the delay in responding. Had you read the narrative that accompanied the video you would have seen that i was more than aware for what the cold spell can do to a pond (30 year pond keeper) and that i normally would drain down this secondary filter system and just let the main filters run, Unfortunately i was caught by my own laziness as i had delayed doing this. Valuable lessons learned!
