Hi I just bought 50 inch feather shades off a seller from Etsy.. But the feathers strips are coming off Drooping.. & after paying over £80.00 for them, I was asked to use upva glue, I think that's not strong enough, hence the fault.. I was basically asking for your Advice.. As I'm in trauma over this, these were my Dream shades for my front room ceiling & have now turned into a nightmare.. As I'm being ignored by the seller.. As it was one shade at first that started coming apart & now they both are.. I can't afford or should have to pay out for a Glue Gun as upva glue simply ain't good enough.. The thing is I bought the same size ones that you made for in my Bedroom & had no issues with them.. So that's why I went ahead with the 50cm ones, please can you advise me on this thank you

Very clever project and very good value much cheaper to make than buy. I seen this online average price for 40cm £27.99. I never seen feather boas in the Pounds Shops will be looking out for then now inpm guessing in the kids/party section.

Hi im Diy mad and honestly wouldn't share something or personally use myself if i believed it would set on fire i did my research before commuting to this diy and found all products that are used the the original shades that can be bought in shops (im sure shops wouldn't be allowed to sell these types of shades if this was the case) obviously i sourced the most affordable materials i could find as this is the purpose of a diy projects. I have had mine up for about 4 months now in 3 different rooms without a problem, i did suggest in my description i personally use led bulds to cut out any heat. Please if you have any other questions feel free to ask i will be happy to help! Also joined your Facebook page and yours looks so good 😊😘
