I didn’t see anything about the thread tension; can you please explain if you use certain setting and also for the stitch length. Thank you I enjoyed it

Can this machine sew straight through five levels of fabric when two of them are folded, like when i make patchwork? I bought a Brother fs60x last year that sews clothes just great. But when i try to sew patchwork it takes one little stitch-width to the side over the humps where the seams meet. The humps have been ironed and pressed beforehand. It`s only about one millimetre of difference, but this is enough to disrupt the patchwork pattern when i sew blankets and i end up with folds when i quilt. When i spend 50-60 hours on making something; i want a perfect result. The fs60x, which in other things i mostly love, did NOT. Can the Innov-is A16 do the job?

I’m so torn between 725 and 423 and I wish I could get some good advice. Some folk say top loader is more reliable and others say side loader gives better stitching…. Help?! Also I think I want sturdy so is 423 better because of full metal body? I’m used to vertical thread holder. Helpppppppp 😅

I just purchased a new/previously owned but never once used xp1 (eBay!) Thank you for sharing! This is the very first video I’ve watched since receiving my machine earlier today. Very informative and helpful. I look forward to watching your next ones. I’ve only used the xp3 in a quilting class at our local shop but this was the best deal I could find and I plan to buy the upgrades.

Hi I just got PR 670 and watched the lovely video setting up thread on the (which)needle. I noticed that there is one needle that wasn’t set up. As I tried to set up mine I can set up only 5 not six is that the case.

Hi, love all your videos the're so in formative, they have really helped me get started on my new machine. I have the same innov-is F420 as in your vid. But I have a problem I'm hoping you can help with. My back tacks from the bobbin thread all seem to look so tangled, the underneath just looks like a mess of bunched up tangled thread, that's sewn down. Is there something I'm doing or can do to sort it out so it looks neat, and not tangled. Thank you. Elaine. x

Beautifully clear video. My 2010 is my go-to; I've never heard b4 of a 2200 Mini. I bought a Juki because I'd seen an online quilting mentor at work. The second, and even more important reason for my purchase is that the TL Jukis come with a scant quarter foot. In my extensive search for a machine with such a foot, I found that only the Juki comes with one - no fussing with a computer guided needle position that cannot get your needle position right where you need it to go. The 2010 does not come with other feet, so I have bought the regular quarter inch but and I bought the wonderful 1/8 inch foot, which is a work of art. Thank you for a great and instructive video

Very informational and enjoyable to watch. Have not done hoop embroidery on my sewing machine and wondered how one would do it. When you had trouble getting your hoop under your foot, I realized the same would happen with me. Would it work to position the hoop under the needle before putting on the new foot (and while the other foot was already off)? Thanks for a well presented video!

Thank you so much for this - have been sat getting very frustrated by wasting time on other useless videos and yours was perfect!!! 🤩 🫶 Quick question, if I may 😊 I have Brother 380D, and only 5 or so automatic embroidery patterns are marked for being ok for water soluble stabilser… the majority of the rest look pretty much chunky enough around the edges and fillings etc to be able to be held together enough -would they work and it’s just Brother being overly cautious? 🤭 Anyway, having watched your video, I now see that the world is my oyster! 😁 Thanks tons from a Brit who’s been living in France for so many years, that it was warming to hear your accent, as the majority of my crowd are French 😂❤

Hello I have this machine and have been using for the last couple of month. However Ive been having a bit of trouble lately where there is a bit of nesting at the start of a straight stitch from the underside of the fabric. I tried to change the tension, clean the bobbin but the issue still persists. Anyone has any recommendations please ?

Great video, Miss Claire. What would you suggest for the "thick thread" as far as they type and size, I have a lot of yards and embroidery floss, but I don't know if they may be "too thick" for this method? Many thanks! kzread.info/dron/1v-pVQyO7l0v80c73pc6Cw.html
