Having just bought this air fryer 2 weeks ago - I have not been able to work out how to use it & thought I must be thick - so I really appreciate this - thank you very much 👍
@@Arthipexercises glad the video has helped so many- 325,000 now amazing! Thanks for watching.
Hi! Thanks for this - leapt into the air fryer craze and bought one, and - as you say - the instructions are bollocks. Looked at a few reviews and yours was easily the most instructive, so many thanks. One thing - How do I grill with it? Can’t see a grill function per se…?
It’s all a grill. It’s basically a heating element with a power fan. Despite all the buttons and supposed modes- The only setting changes are how hot the element gets, and how long it cooks for. So to get more grilled appearance to food, keep it at higher end such as 200 degrees. Thanks for watching.
What do you think- quick and easy, good enough? Dare you use the Dremel method? Its easy, just go light.
As you say, the instructions are terrible and Tower should be shamed. Thank you so much
Cheers Sam.
Thank you. M
Very welcome
Be aware that they come washed and coated in beeswax now so you can just crack on with seasoning. Confirmed this with smokerig today.
Cheers wasn’t aware of that- on the website I thought it said wash it but could be wrong,
Great video and very informative content. We’ve just booked for middle of August. Family of 4 (kids 12 and 7) and this certainly has helped to alleviate those post hotel arrival jitters. Thank you 😊
@@mymatedave13 Glad you enjoyed it, you will have a great time I’m sure. Wish I was going back, I m sure we will book to return in a few years. Thanks for watching.
Can you change it from fariheight 2 celcius
It’s in Celsius, I haven’t seen a way to change it to Fahrenheit
Ok thank you I learnt a few tips watching your video
What are you cooking them on its like a portable griddle or bbq not seen one
On a plancha sitting on my Weber Summit Kamado BBQ. Thanks for watching,
Hi. Thanks for taking the time to do these vids. How do you upgrade to that star prestige level? Do you you have to do it there and how much does it cost please?
Hi Derek thanks for watching. You can book it in advance or upgrade on arrival. Negotiate on arrival if you do- depends how full etc it is as to cost maybe.
@@wakeywarrior Thanks for replying mate. It looks really nice. 👍
Had my ninja foodie less 18 months ago and it’s no longer working properly. Contacted Ninja who said there’s a problem with its internal wiring etc, but won’t do anything because it’s outside of their year guarantee. Things just aren’t built to last anymore (probably made in China) 🙄. Despite loving it when it worked, I won’t buy another Ninja now because I don’t believe in spending near on £300 for an item that doesn’t even last 2 years. Ordered the tower air fryer instead, cheaper and a 3 year guarantee.
Yeah this Tower is good for the money, people have got them for £100 or maybe less.
I was thinking about buying the Ninja, then Amazon also suggested the Tower. Thanks for this video. It almost what Ninja does. Thanks for the clear explanation
Despite loving the ninja foodie, I won’t buy another. Had mine around 18 months and it’s no longer working, despite me using it correctly. Contacted ninja who won’t do anything because it’s outside of the year guarantee. Seems the ninja is another load of rubbish made in China. At least the Tower one is cheaper and has a 3 year guarantee.
No problem, yes this is cheaper than a Ninja. Good value.
Awesome, cheers mate. 🎉
Pleasure thanks for watching🎉

Bargain, thanks for watching.
Found one new for $800 so i ordered it
Bargain!🎉
From where? 👀
What setting do you use when your making burgers 😊?
Big help that video . Mines there since May and I couldn’t be bothered reading instructions 😊
@@cathaldowdall7467 glad it helped Cathal. I notice the Airfryer seems very popular in the Republic, a huge number there have watched this video according to my stats.
Can you use the dry only function without using any solution?
@@calvintanner7897 yes just press the button.
Ok thank you.
I'm looking for a bag to carry almost every day that fits my ultra-compact camera and a few other small items. Do you feel like the 6 liter is small enough to be a daily camera bag for someone with an active lifestyle?
@@Oleg_K. yes it’s smaller than expected, but if you will only ever have the ultra compact and some small items the 3l may be better, check out my review of that. Think of that a couple of inches smaller around the top and one side.
@wakeywarrior Thank you for the great video. How good is the all inclusive option? Thanks
As in drinks etc? They are very good all branded things, see the menus I include in the video. You can also ask for other things. Excellent hotel. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thank you for this, Tower should pay you for your help.
That would be cool Bernie, they said they’d send me stuff to review then said no, I was disappointed,
Awesome video, thank you! Was trying to narrow down our options and this made our choice easy. And, your timing with the cathedral bells - I think the Holy Spirit helped with that. Well done!
Glad it helped, I enjoyed staying there. Great Mexican called the Shed just down the street. Have the blue corn tortillas ask for them ‘Christmas ‘ to eat like a local.
Thanks for the video. How do you find cleaning the plancha? Presumably you’ve not been able to clean it in a sink?
You don’t wash it, you scrape it and if really dirty and won’t scrape put some water on it whilst it’s still red hot on the grill, then scrape. Make sure you re- oil before putting away if using water.
@@wakeywarrior thanks mate. And the excess residue (beef fat cheese etc) you just scrape into the bowl beneath?
Brilliant thank you ... well explained. X
Thanks Mel.
Another great video , I’m not even looking to book this hotel but I still watched it all 😊 thank you once again for a very good video with lots of information
Thanks Lea, this is a very good hotel, highly recommended.
What a great informative video, thank you ! I’m looking to book here. I’ve also subscribed to your channel as I really appreciated this video 😊
Thanks Lea much appreciated. Comments like these are why I go to the hassle of doing these hotel videos when I’m on holiday👍
@@wakeywarrior well only if it’s not too much trouble for you I would suggest to keep doing them (as long as it’s not taking time away from you family or out of your holiday ) your videos are great and like I said I really appreciated this one - have a great day 😃
Is this for kamado E6
Yes any Summit Kamado.
Thanks for the video!
You're welcome! Lord.
Did you use a variable ND filter for shooting videos? and if yes which one ?
Yes sometimes, a K&F Concept one.
@wakeywarrior Thank you, I have a Nikon DX 12-28 and I am struggling to find a Variable ND that does not introduce black shades in the corner in the range 12-20mm . I tried an old NISI and a K&F concept x-nano and I did not get acceptable results in that focal range
@@hamtechoutdoor try one of the very slim bezel versions.
I was actually looking for this review!! I'm planning to carry a two lens setup with A6400. I was searching for whether this sling fits a 24-70mm lens as I haven't seen anyone fit one in this bag but you showed it with 3 lenses!! That's amazing.. I believe this will work perfectly well with one 24-70mm and one 35mm f 1.4 lens with A6400.. Thank you for taking the time out and shoot this video!! :)
Hi Haris. Yes would be ideal for that it’s a lovely little bag. I just sold it though and got the 6lt as I’ve now got 4 lenses and a small microphone (the new Sony one). Take a look at that review. The bag isn’t much bigger and gives room for growth if you may get a couple more lenses. I was surprised it wasn’t much larger at all outer dimensions. But if you will not buy more lenses this one definitely is a good choice. They do sell v quickly on eBay also.
I was 8 times in Sandos Papagayo and this year 9 times
Wow you must love it there.
So good! We would love to have this on MTV's Ridiculousness. Is there an email or IG that I can reach out to? Would be great to have this on the show!
Yes see my channel description. [email protected]
Thank you, thank you. I was about to send it back to the shop, because I could't get it to work.
Glad you now don’t have to return it Betty.
thank you, you're probably the only person on youtube showing how the clip works with the bag on a real human body, and that's exactly what I'm looking for. thank you so very much!
Glad to help. Now have the 6L version as I bought another lens, I show that as well.
Great video. I made a video showing how to install it on an Aventon Aventure 2 e-bike. kzread.info/dash/bejne/X5Ojj62ynKjAiLw.htmlsi=8UQSEuJdkADBlWyp

Just spent a week there. Absolutely brilliant hotel. Couldnt find any negatives. As someone said earlier all the staff are fantastic from Reception, Bar staff right through to the cleaners. Exceptional place
Totally agree- thanks for watching and commenting Pete.
thank you for this
You're very welcome!
I don't have much trouble keeping mine at 225 or even lower...you just have to light a very small amount of charcoal and get the lid shut right away. I did some bacon I'd cured along with a couple blocks of tofu last weekend, using the poor man's Slow 'n Sear I built out of the stock charcoal baskets and a few self-tapping screws. Getting the coals up higher seems to help keep a lower grate temp...I was reading 170-180F with the probe even though the dome was reading over 200. A lot of the time when I want to smoke that cool, I'll get the meat in there well before it's anywhere close to temperature, because that cold mass helps keep the temp under control, and 30-60 minutes of dirty smoke at the very beginning is honestly good on almost anything. It all melllows out by the end.
I might add that I had my basket filled maybe 60% of the way, dumped about 8 lit coals at one corner of it to start the fire, and kept that fire going through a turkey breast after the bacon came off, finally adding about 8 fresh coals to sear up some parcooked artichokes at dinnertime. I love how long the Summit runs on a pittance of coals!
Some good points. Yes I have since this video was made changed technique if I want to go lower than 250. if I want to keep it under 250 (question though do you need to, Franklin always runs at 275 as do most professional pits, albeit in offsets) I just light it with 1 tunbleweed, and set the vents at the appropriate place for 225 (bottom just under the smoke setting, top about 1/6 cracked) and slowly let it heat up. Takes about 1.5 hours to get to 225 but then it holds there quite nicely. I have found dont close the bottom one hardly anything below smoke setting, as then what you can get is temp plunges. Thanks for watching.
@@wakeywarriorI completely agree that for any of the standard BBQ cuts, 225 is just putting yourself through needless pain, and the smaller/quicker the cook, the higher I tend to go, even over 300. But some things like bacon or salmon or cheese, a guy's got to know how to choke the temp. I'm finding it really controllable to leave the bottom vent fairly open, maybe 3 1/2 ovals, closer to the grill setting than to smoke, and then just choking the top vent. That way you're sure you're getting plenty of air to the coals, because I've had a little trouble with this thing getting close to a snuff-out otherwise. Anyway, I enjoy your vids, and enjoy that you're a brother-in-arms in checking the plaid shirt guy's shill-ish negativity about what I think is close to the best grill on the market.
@@porfiry ha ha don’t forget your air flow monitor and your thermal camera! He’s a very good BBQer and I’ve always watched his channel but that video seemed like a hatchet job.
@@wakeywarriorIndeed.
You're right about Tower's instructions not being clear! I've just bought an air fryer and had to watch your video to know what to do with the grill plate! Thank you!
Glad it helped Anne, happy air frying.

Thanks for the great review. Just what I was looking for.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Very informative video. Does Abilene know how good is the food in comparison to other hotels in Playa Blanca. Only thing I would say is that Prestige doesn’t seem worth it.
Thanks for watching and your comment. The food is extremely good, it is a top end buffet, better even than, say Anthelia. But it doesn’t have a table service restaurant which would be nice. Star Prestige isn’t really worth it for the food alone as it isn’t much different , but depending on price you pay it is worth it for the quiet pool (which is really nice, and makes the holiday IMO) and the quiet restaurant. We were sceptical we would like those areas but even my kids say they thought it was very nice to be in there, the pool area in particular and with the massive hot tub etc. Another advantage of Star Prestige is if you are not all inclusive you can drink for free until 6pm.
Brilliant video thanx. Didn't know where to start with the instruction manual. So easy now you've explained it all ❤
Cheers Steve, very glad to have been of assistance.

I have this the cable it's annoying there no other way to dell with it
Ours is still going strong, did another clean at the weekend. Great piece of kit rather than having to hire Rug Doctor every time.
Easily the best comparison between these two. I've also got both of these and debating on which to keep. I shoot outside a lot and wear polarized sunglasses. For me, that's a huge problem with the ZV1 because the screen isn't oriented correctly, and you can't see it with polarized sunglasses on. The ZV1 is much better at photographing fast moving subjects with autofocus tracking. It will shoot 20 frames/sec in full autofocus tracking, which is insane. So if you photograph active kids, it's a better choice and fits in your pocket easily [if you plan to do photos]. The size is much nicer if you don't have a Ulanzi lens adapter or cage on it - fits in a pocket easily. The built-in ND filter is really nice, and the video quality is really quite good. The two cameras are almost hard to tell apart on video, especially after youtube compression. The Nikon is way easier to use and produces slightly better video quality. It also does built-in time lapse videos straight out of camera, where the Sony will not. It's photos are also much better. It accepts filters without needing an adapter installed. You comparison of usability and controls was spot-on the mark.
Thanks for watching and your detailed, accurate comments. For me the Z30 was my clear choice over the two. It is a really good camera, and a bargain for the money, but the ZV 1 has the advantages you described. I’ve now got the ZVE1. That’s awesome.
What do you think? A fairly easy addition to the humble smash burger really elevates the taste in my view. Are you cooking them or will you?
WHY didn't they use the more standardized MIK than their MTX??
Sorry I don’t know what a MIK is ?
@@wakeywarrior .. Google _"MIK, or Mounting is Key, is a bicycle rack system that allows cyclists to quickly and securely attach and remove bike accessories with a single click."_
@@wakeywarrior .. I tried to leave you a reply before, MIK is a more popular "standardized" connection between the rack and the bag or whatever attachment you're using.
