Big L

Big L

Born Lamont Coleman in 1974, Big L electrified the streets of Harlem and later the entire hip-hop underground with his unbelievable freestyles and vivid ability to spin the most detailed stories when on a mic. Early street single “Devil’s Son” helped invent the horror-core rap genre, and debut Lifestyles Ov Da Poor and Dangerous earned four mics from The Source upon release. Despite his tragic passing in 1999, Big L’s legacy lives on in every fast-paced rhyme he ever delivered.
