  If this were to happen it would impact the community and our children for the rest of our lives. On the news all over the tv and the kids. This is less traumatic cause it didn’t really happen .

  I am parent of 4 kids that went to Cairo durham school and had to attend the prom promise. It is reality and these kids need to feel the emotions and see what could happen. I teared up at everyone I went to and saw many of the children and other parents tear up. I do not think stopping this would be a good decision. Do you think the towns emergency responders wanna go to a scene like this. And knowing the children or even be related. It should be the parents choice not the education department. It really makes the children think.

  New York state wants to stop doing this and I vote that we don't. I went to it tonight and it had me and my daughter who is going to prom this year in tears. I think it's a good shock to kids on what can happen

  Is there of the entire presentation and ceremony like past years? Many relatives and friends of deceased veterans like to be able to see the entire presentation not just the band or edited clips. I usually send them a full link for viewing including names read of our fallen.

  I feel like if the defendant was obnoxious and told the judge "I don't have to listen to this" the judge would have screamed at him "BE QUIET OR I WILL ADD CONTEMPT ONTO YOUR LIST OF CHARGES YOU HORRIBLE MONSTER"! I truly believe that's what would have happened that judge was livid inside and was restraining himself as it was.
