I very much love this man.
My favorite roll of his, albeit a short bit in the movie, is the morlock in the Time Machine. Breath taking.
Thank you for this most informative presentation.
Absolutely no looks at all. Hollywoods standards today.
Beautiful and humbling ❤
Jeremy Irons is such a charming guy for someone that voiced arguably the most evil Disney villain.

CHRISTIAN SIRIANO: where are your petite-sized models? You pretend to be "all inclusive." And you're not. That is changing though, and designers who pretend smaller women are invisible will find they're not making as many sales as they used to.
Great Lady! What is SCAD?
Very beautiful 😍❤️
This man is one of my heroes. I've watched him perform countless times. When he died, i was devastated. He performed with Barishnikov, Sammy, Liza (I think), Will & Grace, etc... So many others. He performed as Bojangles, in Tap, in Sammy's 60th anniversary celebration, etc. I loved him. As he loved us.
Egghead
Way to go Steve! Such great SCAD history.

Thank you for sharing! Picasso's Guernica has been a tremendous inspiration to me and marked a defining moment during my undergraduate years at Mizzou (Professor Klein's Art History class). It was during this formative period of my BFA, when I deeply connected to this masterpiece, that I was propelled on my journey to SCAD (MFA, Illustration 2007) and into my career as an artist. I hope my experiences serve as inspiration for others, just as Guernica inspired my own artistic journey.
Love it!
10 minutes to eat your lunch😂 .
The most interesting aspect for me was the Dark Humor used in the artwork to accentuate the strength and aggression of the Assyrians. The way they had a head hanging in the carving as an almost passive aggressive message to the ruler of Nineveh, tells us so much more about the kingdom’s mindset and how spiteful they were in their conquering.
I am impressed by how the narrative is so meticulously crafted; every single detail is intentional, whether it enhances the image itself or hints at a larger narrative. "The Garden Party" aptly demonstrates the power of art and imagery in shaping perception. Even the destruction of the carvings shows that it was attacked for the power it holds.
What I find really interesting is how the Queen could actually be the focus in this. She is closer to us in the picture, is in towards the center of the piece, her garment is much more detailed, and similar to the King, has servants waiting on her. I also love the "dark humor" of the head of Teumman and how he wanted to eat dinner in Nineveh once he took over but is now a totem for the King to look at which he is eating.
Thank you for this interview and the positive energy it exudes!
The most interesting aspect of "The Garden Party" is how the queen was most likely the focus of the composition, though we still see the king as part of the focus. With closer comparison we can see how the queens clothes are much more ornate while the kings clothes seem to be more casual. I also found it intriguing how the relief might have looked with color and the level of detail colored may have added.
He's always so beautiful. The most beautiful.
shes so daddy
I find 'The Garden Party' to be so intriguing because of the attention to detail even though this relief is dated to be thousands of years old. From the jewelry, the clothing, and the narrative being told in this piece, you really get this demonstration of royal status from the Assyrians. What strikes me the most is the overturned head as a sign of power in the empire. Although the relief has lost its color and taken some damage, you can still understand this strong message being portrayed.
It makes me think about Gaza..
Muy buen documental gracias
😊
