Love the sound of turkey in the back ground. Awesome
When are you going to do a video on the construction build of that blind you got there. I agree. The instructions are absolutely horrible. I would love to see a video on how to assemble. It. Looks like you guys did a real good job on it. Please let me know if you will be doing one soon, I bought the condo unit and would love the instructions on how to put it together before I get started. Thanks.
I cracked my 30th anniversary KC18. It is a strong oak but I don't get a bitter oak. It is rich and woodsy.

My brother and I are dealing with standing corn as well. Huge pain in the ass
Looks great 😊
Thank you very much
Disliked. 100 Proof? That makes no sense. LAME. "100 proof" is watered down to 50%. WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT 50% OF A DEER? THESE INBREDS DON'T REALIZE THAT THE "PROOF" SCALE GOES UP TO 200. I only made it 30 seconds into the video before disliking. We can safely say that the brother is getting married to the sister.
I like the Axis platform, I have it in a .308 and it is a great choice. The only issue is the stock is plastic and therefore light for that larger caliber.
I dont think you need to go much heavier than a 270 for deer if you were going west or bear maybe bigger but for NE hunting I really like the 270
How do you terminate the rye without hurting the clover?
This plot was winter wheat. So I just let it stay till the deer ate all the seed heads. You can terminate a rye crop by using clethodim herbicide or mowing when the rye is in the dough stage. Any other questions just let me know. Thanks for checking it out 👍
@@oltincuphabitat thank you!
@@daddylee4216 you're welcome anytime glad I can help.
@oltincuphabitat I appreciate that a lot. I'll probably make you regret it lol but I'm getting serious about food plots for the first time and the more I learn the more questions I have. Great video btw 👍
No worries happy to help and answer any questions ya may have.
I have a bottle of Coopers that I haven't actually had a pour of yet. Sounds like I need to some time soon.
The coopers is a great bottle! Wish I had another still looking haha
0:59 I looked at this chair in Walmart and I was going to do some research on it b4 I bought it, and the SAME chair is now costing 75$ …man I love this bidenflation.
Thanks For Sharing....
Leaving equipment laying around, real amateur move, haha.
Nice shirt!
Thanks!
This is the issue I had last year. I over seeded my little turnip plot which is why I went with a different spreader.
Gotcha yeah measure the plot I use onx and calculate seed. And brassica is 1.5 gate max!! It's all a process live and learn.👍
Good stuff Ben!
Thanks Jimmy!

Thanks for checking it out really appreciate the support
This is yet another review where Blue Run just doesn't sound like its worth the money.
Thank you for sharing..
Hi Ben, Great video! What was your seed mixture composition (% winter wheat, % crimson clover)/seeding rate? Also, in my experience, winter wheat doesn't roller crimp as well as winter rye, which is why I prefer winter rye. Just wondering your thoughts? Thank you, Pat

How did you apply the seed mix? Did you drill it in or broadcast. I just did my first no-till as well. Cut, spray, broadcast a summer mix then cultipack like you. Fingers crossed!🤞🏼🤞🏼
In this field we broadcasted the seed with a shoulder spreader. But the seed was very small and I usually add approx another 10% seed when I no till the biggest seed in this mix was the radish.
Breckenridge is one of my favorite distilleries. A rum finished battle would be a good one if you wanted to bring a guest in that doesn't like the strong burn. The rum brings a sweetness to the bourbon.
I have been hearing mixed reviews on Blue Run. Blue Run and Bowmans are the next two on my shopping list.
Regarding the fawn comment, I had a doe come back through the woods and stomp/blow as I was trying to get my dad a turkey last weekend. I had a feeling she had a fawn when I saw her the day before and then she wouldn't leave us while we sat in the woods.
That is an impressive bottle count. The tin woodsman was next to the Yellow Brick Road casino. The nation closed it down to expand the casino to put in the sports area (bowling and video golf).
Another guess on the bottle count: 76 I agree with Keith regarding Bakers vs KC 12. Ever thought about trying an age flight of the same brand like a KC 9,12,15,18?
Cheers, The Russel's 10 is delicious and I have had my eye out for a 13 yr. Glad to hear it is a good one and I will keep hunting.
Congrats, I need to get out. Just haven't had free morning but looking to head out sunday morning.
