They made a great contribution to railroad writing, photography and historical documentation. However, the railroad hobbyist publications, especially Trains Magazine, could never get over themselves to honestly admit the relationship between Beebe and Clegg.
Thank you for the information, @crrm.
Thanks for tuning in!
@@akaBoG You're very welcome.
Great information video, we visited your Museum in August 2016 and enjoyed greatly, a long way from home here in Australia.

Buena Vista is properly pronounced “BEW-na Vista”. The town's name has been pronounced “BEW-na Vista” instead of the Spanish “BWAY-na Vista” ever since it was founded.
You forgot to say that the bodies of Outfit cars have been excellent sources of restoration projects at Cumbres & Toltec Scenic and the Colorado RR Museums. TM CRRM Member

1858
1858.
Dual gauge.
She’s a pretty smart cookie! Great info!
1858
1858!
Me being a HAM radio operator I have read about this. I think the 1880's is when they started??
It was facinating to learn that Denver Union Station had dual gauge track up into the 30s
Very interesting and well done thank you. Full of information! I'd suggest as a possible improvement: music more appropriate to the era being presented.
0:043 - Hang on now...can the Thomas' sent around the country run on narrow AND standard gauge track, or is this dual gauge track?
Great footage!
Hearing Thomas’s voice with real steam engine sounds is so cool! I love day out with Thomas! 😄
It is duel gauge but why 4 rails normal duel gauge has 3 rails it is because we can put are equipment in either end
The outside rails are stranded gauge and the inside rails are narrow gauge, so they can move different equipment around with different gauges.
Wonderful video. Makes me want to bring my grandkids to the museum.
Thank you!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤❤🚂🚂🚂🚂
I love the irony of the tallest man in narrowgauge painting the smallest piece of standerdgauge equipment
Awesome video - thank you. Keep up the good work! 👍
Live this series!
I think his name was Jeff, but I might’ve mistranslated it from “RAAAAAAAAAAA”, Tyrano is a very difficult language to translate
I can’t wait till I live out there and hopefully get the opportunity to operate one of your amazing locomotives
My grandfather W.S. Allen was stationmaster at Larkspur, CO. In the 1990's I was at the museum in Golden with my mom and she was searching down an engine that she said scared her brother to death as he was employed with the task of delivering the orders to the engineer holding that stick contraption while standing at the edge of the platform as that monstrous engine barrelled by. We thought we had found that engine on display at the museum but watching your videos it may have been one the large narrow guage engines she picked out. She said the engine she was talking about was the largest steam engine they ran on that southbound line out of Denver. I would guess maybe the 4-6-2 configuration standard guage? You are stating you don't have that? Do you know what the largest engine they ran down that line around 1935 to 1940 timeline?
Nice video! LIKE
It was founded in 1900 by Joshua Lionel, Cowen, and Harry Grant in N.Y
🎥👍👍👍👍👍👍❤❤
That looks like such a good time! Definitely on the bucket list.
It's worth the trip. We traveled from KY in 2020. Going back this fall. Make sure you take the train thru Royal Gorge while you are in the area.
I love seeing all three Museum engines running together....346 will be back from Durango before we know it!
Wait, I know that music
donald tallman
Awesome 😀
Dont just chain it off hammond lol (Extreme niche ((brother and me)) meme)
Great photos.👍👍👍👍👍👍
Super. They have one of my favorite locomotives, a center cab (GE 44 tonner?) switcher in CB&Q paint. I also vividly remember the vending machine that turned a penny into a souvenir, and when the museum trackage was connected to the C&S "Coors" branch line, and I remember being amazed that the steam locomotive pulling the passenger train could stay on the track on the museum's sharp curves, and the view of the museum's collection from the train was awesome. Please make sure all future locomotives and rolling stock have access to the main line loop, and are accessible and operable from the new property, unlike those beautiful F units, and hopefully three rail everything so that your standard gauge collection can get a workout also. Good video. 💙 T.E.N.
