How long can be expected that table arm to last before breaking off? Are there better quality winders made?

If it was that easy to reveal what’s underneath. Anyhow, as a knitter and a crocheter-it takes minutes to destroy and time to build.

It’s like welding in movies. Totally unproductive, or worse it moves way faster than welding takes in real life. There’s always some guy making random sparks with a torch.

I want to thank soooo much for this tutorial! I saw it once only few days ago and today I tried it when knitting two sleeves at the same time - what a game changer!!! I used to hate making sleeves but not anymore! This video is so clear, the explaination is brilliant. Thank you!

I just received my ball winder today. I don't have a swift. I usually would hand-wind a center pull ball from the standard skein, but this makes it so much better! I'm going to "convert" all my hard to a cake like this! ❤ I looked up the video because I didn't understand how to attach the table gripping foot - and this video made it perfectly clear. Thank you! 🎉

I just bought the Reflections Options Short Interchangeable Set and it says on the page "The Lace Interchangeable tips and cables are not compatible with standard or Shorties Interchangeable tips and cables". But in the video you say they can be connected with regular cables? Does that mean they just won't make up to desired length that normal needles would or does it mean they cannot be connected to any other cable besides short cables?

Although we don't have a video for that specifically,, we do have the following video about I cord bind off that you might find helpful. Just go to our website, and type 'i cord" in the Search Site box in the upper right hand corner of our website, and then hit enter on your keyboard. It should come right up.

Just getting ready to start my blanket. In the written instructions it has the first CDD on row 3 of the square, in the video it is row 2, if using row count of written instructions, it says cast on row is row 1. So should I CDD in row 2 like the video or row 3 as per written instructions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That was so helpful. I’ve been knitting for years and always tie a knot. Lazy! I just tried the spit technique and it worked great! I used actual spit.
