My sister's (the three Freeman sisters in Pennsylvania) and I love this!! So glad you posted it! Hope you are doing well! We visited Prince Edward Island in 1974. Our mother had a full collection of L.M. Montgomery books that were given to her as a girl. It was a dream of hers to visit the island and she finally got to. We loved it, but like you say things have really changed. Not only there , but everywhere. At least we have our memories. You have always kept the old memories alive through your music, story telling and art! Thank you for creating such wonderful memories for us all over all these years- The Master Storyteller!!❤

Good to hear from you , Will! This is lovely, thank you. Recently, the Ithaca College radio station, WICB, played The Unicorn on a weekend show. The DJ, a young fella, announced the song as Shel Silverstein. I texted him and told him the band performing it was The Irish Rovers. He answered that he'd played it off a Best of Shel Silverstein album, and was glad to know who the musicians were, as he thinks it's a cool song. Thank you for all the wonderful music over the years, hope you are well.

I want to thank you for all the wonderful times listening to the music of the Irish Rovers . 17 years ago you had a tour of Will Millar's Ireland , my Mother attended with me , six months later she passed from her last bout with cancer. One the cds we purchased from that tour was playing in the room . She very much enjoyed the concert and it was my chance to see you in person. Thank you again for the wonderful tunes that still resonate so deeply within me . May you have the best of health and happiness in this and all years to come

This takes me back to the 80s. Oh my goodness how we used to belt this out. This morning this song just popped in my head after the hubby and I got up a bit late... see, we had our own little party. We're empty nesters and we can do that lol... any way... I said to him, "wasn't that a party?" He was like, huh? So I had to play the song for him this morning. Now it's stuck in his head and he was singing it as he headed out the door. 😆 Good times, good memories. Here's to making new ones even in this messed up world. 🥂 Cheers!
