Now you have me wanting to grill up some pork chops. Haven’t done them for sometime. Great cook, Craig.
How long did the beginning part take to get it to one twenty
Thanks for watching! Of course all grills, temp, etc… matter, but usually around 1 hour to get to 120F. Cheers!
@@beers-jackofbbq thanks
Nice straightforward cook very nice 👏
Thanks Mark! Yes, sometimes not much to show but a good cut of meat! Cheers!
Have to say,,,,, looks wonderful!! Bet they taste even BETTER!
I like that Mesa 200S, It's just my wife and I now, our daughter has her own place, so that grill is nice for us. Sure looks like it did well for you with those chops. Looks delicious!
It is a nice little grill and with the side shelves that fold down it is even more compact. We actually cooked 2 tomahawks on this grill! I gave this grill to my nephew because he did not have much space and needed a grill! Cheers!
@@beers-jackofbbq Awesome! Cheers, my friend. We enjoy your channel.
Looks DELICIOUS!!!
Gonna try my 2 inch chops tomorrow for dinner. Thanks for the tips
These should turn out nice for you! Good luck! Cheers!
Mine can’t find the Bluetooth 😢
Fortunately for me, this worked as easy as it could. I even tried multiple things that people were saying they had trouble with and it always connected for me? So you should contact them for help. Cheers!
You keep talking about the temperature. The time is just as important and you're not mentioning that. I cook my chicken breast at 150° for 1 1/2 hrs... turn out nicely. Sometimes I don't brown them. I put a little salt and pepper and paprika on them because I'm going to freeze them and pull them out one at a time.
Thanks for watching! This video was done about 5 years ago and since then I have been trying to always mention times in the video. I always have the instructions in the show more area and I did have these in for 1 1/2 hours. Cheers!
As always looks amazing Gentlemen 🔥
Always appreciate it! Cheers!
Looks like some tasty chicken. Nice cook, Craig.
Thanks Dave! Yes, chicken thighs are one of my favorites and they did turn out nice! Cheers!
I'm surprised at how affordable the Mesa 305 is. The thighs look to have come out great. What is your opinion on the Mesa 305?
I think for the price the 305 is a great grill and gets super hot for searing. I also have the 4 burner from the year before and with the improvements they made the 305 is nicer. I did give the 305 to my son in law and he is very happy with it. Can’t comment on the longevity, but the 4 burner is 1 1/2 years old and is as good as new. I do keep it covered. Cheers!
I finally replaced my Jumbo Joe with this grill. Same size but this one is much better. Thanks for the video. Tri-tip might be it's first cook.
Yes, the travel kettle is probably my favorite grill that I use for most of my own cooks for my wife and I. I have the Jumbo Joe as well, but this has more features and easier to cook on and hold temps. Cheers!
@@beers-jackofbbq I completely get that. It’s the perfect size for small cooks, which is mostly what I do. I literally had the Jumbo Joe on the workbench to put in another air intake vent and move the thermometer I had put in earlier when a notice that the SnS was on sale showed up in email. It wasn’t that much off but enough that I pulled the trigger, in large part because of how well it holds temps based on your videos. I think you guys deserve a commission.
Looks like my first cook on my Bullseye Black edition.
Chicken thighs are my favorite for chicken and these turned out great! Cheers!
Great looking tomahawk-Tauh…
Can’t go wrong with a good tomahawk! Cheers!
The Covid protocol…..what a joke. Never again!!!!!✌🏼🇺🇸
Thanks for watching! Cheers!
Love the videos. I'm gonna buy one. Do you think a brisket fits the travel sns grill? Or is it to small??
I would think a small flat or a small point will be fine. I have done a chuck roast like a brisket and that worked out fine. Enjoy the grill! Cheers!
Amazing as always gentlemen 🔥
Thanks Anthony! These were very good! Cheers!
Never heard of wagyu sausage but it definitely looked good.
That was the first I saw as well. It was very good! Cheers Dave!
Sausage people will love this!!!
Good sausage is one of my favorite meals! Cheers!
Watch Harry soo hot and fast brisket video and stop wasting time cooking and spend more time eating
Thanks! I have seen some of Harry Soo’s cooks and this method works for me and I don’t cook brisket that often! Cheers!
I'm looking at pellet grills. I never heard of Rec Tec but my car dealer told me that's what he got - 590 neck Boss. I looked at their grills and I think the RT-B380 is a better fit for me and wife.
The 590 is better for all around cooking, not the best for searing. The 380 I have used to cook ribs and I am sure you can do brisket and pulled pork. This does work well for searing steaks and higher temps. Just keep the drip areas clean from fat or you will get flare ups when cooking on high heat! Cheers!
Yes, it is an 18 inch grill and perfect for 2 people to cook almost anything! Appreciate you watching! Cheers!
@@beers-jackofbbq Спасибо, отличные видео, хорошего дня.
No Charbadkets?
I think Char Baskets came with it but I ordered the Slow ‘N Sear as soon as I ordered this grill. I also gave this to my Son In Law when SNS came out with their own grill! Cheers!
really want chicken brast to work on my SNS. To make this a bit less dry, do we go for slightly higher temp? or lower temp? or water basket?
Более низкую температуру. Корзинка с водой позволит проще сохранять стабильную температуру. Время приготовления будет больше, это надо учитывать.
@@AlikKraGood advice! Chicken breasts are not my favorite since they always seem dry to me and the reason I usually cook thighs for myself. My wife said they are great. Cheers!
The reply to your message was good advice. My wife thinks they are good, but I always think they are dry and the reason I like thighs! Cheers!
@@beers-jackofbbq Я тоже люблю куринные бедрышки)))
The diameter of the chefstemp is the same as my meater plus, 6mm, which i bought for 70 bucks. Tho they have a mini-probe at 5.5mm. Now if you had something at 5.0 mm, i would be interested. Great video!
This technology continues to get better and better, so I would expect them to get thinner. I am very happy with the ChefsTemp and all of their products. Cheers!
You opened the grill every 10 minutes, let them be and they'll cook just fine, you opened the grill 6 times
With only having the infrared on in the grill the heat is usually very intense and the reason I checked as often as I did. Being the first try with the basket, I was expecting 20 to 30 minutes max. But with the rotation of the basket the wings were never close enough to the heat and the reason I turned on the bottom burners to finish them off. They were on almost an hour before I turned on the bottom burners. The infrared does not heat the entire grill like the bottom burners. Cheers!
This plancha look very cool
it works well and makes you charcoal grill into a flattop. Because I also have a Blackstone, I don’t use this as often as I should! Cheers!
165 and they are done my friend going anything more than that you’re starting to make them over cooked
I actually like them done harder for wings, the rest of the chicken, I like just done. Cheers!
Great looking steaks.
Thanks Dave! Yes, for a NY Strip, these were really good! Cheers!
thick boys! delish
Cheers!
Seems jack has a strategy: squeak a little bit & get the larger cut 🤣 nice job gents
Jack squeaks a lot, but I gave in this time! LOL Appreciate it! Cheers!
So good!!!!!!!
They were for sure! Cheers!
Nice!! Well I just had bone in thighs for lunch I made on the Big joe, now I'm hungry for a taste of that steak!!!
And I am now hungry for some good thighs! LOL Cheers Brad!
His minutes are 10 seconds
We try not to have dead time in our videos and keep them moving on the important parts. I am not a fan of just watching a long video. Cheers!
Not done
Not done for you, but done for us. We like it on the low end of medium rare and this one was on the edge and tasted great! Cheers!
Time lapse stupidass video useless
Pretty easy to put together and did not want a boring video of basic assembly. If we had any trouble we called it out. Cheers!
Thanks trying my first with your recipe, no beer for me but a nice Old Fashioned :-)
Good luck to you! Just watch the temps and you will have a great steak! Nothing wrong with a good Old Fashion! Cheers!
Another nice cook 👏perfect medium rare!
Thanks! Yes, always our goal to hit the low end medium rare! Can’t beat a good chuck eye! Cheers!
Craig, another excellent video. I live in small town Ontario Canada, with no real butcher shop. I wish I could get a Chuck Eye steak or even a minute steak, we buy Costco Rib Eye steaks at $85 for 3, they are really nice but expensive. I agree with @MilkAndHoney3 comment, your channel is the best - Thank you !!!!
Appreciate that John and always enjoy your comments! Our local grocery store will have them, but usually very thin. Porter road does a nice job, but you do pay extra. You can’t beat the Ribeye from Costco, but you do pay the price for a great steak! Cheers!
What brand of grill is that
Frontgate Gas Grill. It is a higher end gas grill that Jack has had for 20+ years. Cheers!
The finished steaks had an amazing crust and color. Great cook, Craig.
Thanks Dave! That little grill just does a great job and fun to grill on! I agree, I was impressed by the color of those steaks as well! Cheers!
Hey Craig, Sean’s dad drop me some info on the SNS travel kettle could you do that? Please appreciate it.
Mark, shoot me an email and I will get the info to you. [email protected]
This is one of the best grilling channels on KZread. Love watching your stuff, keep up the great work. Always want to grill and drink a beer after watching your videos--enjoy the warm weather!
We do the channel as an excuse to eat good food and drink some good beer, but comments like this go a long way! Appreciate that! Thank you! Cheers!
Looks great!!!!
Great product! Cheers!
Nice
One of my favorite things to cook and eat of course! This worked out pretty nice! Cheers!
Sounds like a great product.
They really made improvements over their previous products. Mostly in the way the app works and connects. Cheers Dave!
How do you clean your plancha when you’re done cooking?
Similar to how I clean my Blackstone. I have a food grade scrapper to clean off the remnants, I take a little water and scrape again. I have wash cloths I soak pretty good to clean the remaining and then a light coat of oil and let the grill and Plancha cool down and ready for the next cook! Hope that helps! Cheers!
Nice job 👍👍
Thanks! Always love cooking a tomahawk on any grill! Cheers!
Looked VERY GOOD 👍
Not may favorite, but did turn out pretty good! Cheers!
That was not medium rare It was borderline RAW
This was an older video, so I watched it again and not sure what temps you go for, but cook them the way you like them. We did show the temps on these and before it was done searing we showed the temp at 125F degrees and know this rested to 130F. Rare is 125 and medium rare is 135 and I mentioned this was at the low end of medium rare. Not close to raw! I am not a chef, but I do let the temp probes tell me when it is the way we like them. Thanks for watching! Cheers!
