  • @MrStudabaker
    @MrStudabaker5 ай бұрын

    Yeah the wheelies are the coolest for me as well. Believe it not all those boys run stock mower engines in there dragsters and need all the small tire torque. I'm curious, hows that John Deere treating ya?

  • @Tennesseemountainhomestead
    @Tennesseemountainhomestead5 ай бұрын

    I’m really impressed with how tough it is, the John Deere I built. Stock it had a variator belt system. I gutted all that and built a one off pulley system that mimics the way a Wheel Horse one looks. It has the Creepycrawler clutch setup. I did make a couple tweaks like an adjustable back side idler that takes up the slack from belt stretch and wraps the trans pulley more. I honestly didn’t expect it to work so well as it has. The same belt has been on it since day one and still shows no signs of distress. I’ve been gradually abusing it more and more as I’ve gotten more comfortable riding harder. The whole thing besides that is solid, as I expected. I have not had to fix anything or do any maintenance, yet… the Predator 670 has been great so far too. So, no complaints! The only downside is that it’s unique and cost me a few grand plus a ton of hours to build. So with that, I am afraid to really trash on it 😅 like I see some guys doing to theirs I want to build a beater mower at some point that’s not so complicated, has an 820 and is a couple hundred pounds lighter. Thank you for asking!
